Nutrilite Double X Multivitamin – Review
Nutrilite Double X is one of a kind multivitamin because of it contains a wide variety of vitamins and minerals per serving. If you have not heard of Nutrilite, according to its researchers, it is one of the world’s leading brand of dietary supplements. My review on Double X is based on taste, price, energy level, vitamins and minerals, and health benefits.

Nutrilite Double X – Retail Price: $29.95 (10-day supply) $74.75 (31-day supply)
Size: 60 tablets (10-day supply), 186 tablets (31-day supply)
Taste: 6/10
Price: 7/10
Energy Level: 7/10
Vitamins & Minerals: 9/10
Health Benefits: 7/10
At first Double X seems a little on the expensive side but look closer and you might agree that it is a decent bargain. For about $2.50 a day, you are getting many of the nutrients needed for optimal health and beyond. It would of been an even better bargain if all of its vitamins were high quality and extracted from natural sources. Like most multivitamins it doesn’t taste sweet like candy cane. Instead, it has a light-bitter herbal-like flavor, just swallow it whole and you should be fine.
Double X is a supplement that I can usually take every day because I don’t experience any bad side effects. I took Double X regularly for a week, than stopped taking it for a few days and felt a noticeable decreased in energy. I usually take this supplement on a semi or full stomach to avoid the minor side effects. Taking this supplement on an empty stomach gives me a minor upset stomach and makes me feel lightheaded. The feeling usually last for about 30 minutes.
I like to take one serving of Double X per day instead of the recommended two servings, this way my tablets last me 60 days instead of 30 days. The one serving already has a good amount of the recommended daily value of vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately, a good portion of its vitamins and minerals are synthetic which is why I stopped taking them. To help absorb the vitamins more effectively, eat some healthy foods before taking the three vitamin tablets. I don’t recommend taking more than two servings of Double X per day, because you may end up consuming too much vitamins and minerals which can be toxic in the long-run. A mineral that you should be careful of is iron. The FDA recommended daily value for iron is 18 milligrams. Dramatically exceeding the recommended daily value of iron for long periods of time can lead to hemochromatosis, which is a disease of having too much iron stored in the body. According to Double X supplement facts, there is no iron in Double X so this shouldn’t be a problem.
Is Double X all natural?
The video at the bottom of this page claimed that Double X has more plant concentrates than three of the top multivitamins combined: Advance Formula Centrum, One-A-Day, and Pharmanex Life Essentials. Double X may have more plant concentrates but many of its vitamins and minerals are synthetic. This was a little shocking because according to the video, Nutrilite grows, harvest and process plants for its vitamins on its own certified organic farms. Some of the synthetic vitamins in Double X are vitamin A, C, E, vitamin B1 (thaimin), B6, B12 and niacin. According to the supplement facts, 75 percent of vitamin A is from natural beta carotene. Independent researchers suggested that synthetic vitamins don’t work as well as natural vitamins and can also be toxic. Vitamin toxicity can occur if the vitamin is not created properly or contaminated with harmful substances such as metallic aluminum. These types of problem happen more than people may realize.
Multivitamin tips:
Multivitamins are good for helping you get the necessary vitamins and minerals needed for optimal health but they are not as effective as eating raw plant-based food, such as organic fruits and vegetables. To get all the recommended vitamins and minerals every day from food, you may need to prioritize your food which can be a hassle. Depending on what you are eating, calories could also be a problem. This is why it may be a good idea to take vitamin supplements with whole food, such as organic fruits and vegetables, whole grains and organic meat for optimal health. Before purchasing dietary supplements, make sure you know the differences between natural and synthetic vitamins. Most supplement manufacturers use synthetic vitamins because they are cheaper to make. Many synthetic vitamins are less effective because they are harder to absorb, and are missing many of the key synergistic components that are found in nature.

Hi! My name is Pao L Chang and I’m the author/moderator of EnergyFanatics.Com. Ever since graduating from high school in 2001, I noticed that my energy level was not as high as it used to be. While in college, I decided to educate myself about energy, health, wellness, and explore the mystery of alternative medicine and the power of spiritual healing. This journey taught me many things...
You can order this product directly from the company at quixtar.com. And as a referred customer, you can order anything at distributor price, which makes Double X $53.90.
what are the side effects if somebody ate double x vitamins which got expired a month ago?
The Nutritional benefits of the products have decreased and thats why it does have an expiration date on the Double X not because of any health side effects. Then again if anything was expired lets say 1 year of more. I would not consume it anyway. Any more questions about Double X or how to order double X please feel free to contact me anytime.
Most vitamins have expiration dates for quality issues. Once vitamins reach their expiration date, they lose a lot of their potency. I haven’t try Double X that has been expired so I don’t know the side effects. If it has only been a month, then there shouldn’t be any problems, but to be on the safe side I would avoid it and get a new pack.
hola soy de colombia y quiero comprar el double pero no lo consigo donde lo compro en clombia ciudad barranquilla chao
If you are taking the womans simply 4 vitamins in a pack, is it safe to take double x, or just stick with one?
One serving of Double X already has enough of the recommended daily value of vitamins and minerals. I suggest sticking with one to reduce the chance of consuming too much vitamins. Keep in mind that you are also consuming vitamins from the food you eat during the day.
yo soy distribudor. si quiere, yo le puedo ayudar ordenar.
I have some Double X that I have had for a few years. I was curious about the expiration of these. They are no longer in their original packaging so there is no expiration date.
What is the typical life of these vitamins once they have been removed from their original packaging?
Double X has an expiration date of about one year. I would just recommend replenishing your supply then using the expired Mutlivitamin
I’m not too sure about Double X but most multivitamins can last 1 to 2 years before they lose more than 90% of their potency. Light, air, temperature and moisture plays a major role on how fast vitamins lose their potency. If it has been more than 2 years, I would buy a new bottle.
Is double X safe to take with blood pressure medicine Cozaar and also paxil (the paxil is only as needed for palpitations) Are there any known side effects or things to watch out for if i am mixing these two medications
Cozaar can potentially interact with medicine, such as Diuretics, Rifampin, Nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs, Fluconazole and Potassium supplements or salt substitutes. If you are taking these medicine with Cozaar, pay close attention to any major changes in your body.
Double X has low doses of Potassium, about 1 percent of the recommendation daily value. This should not be a problem but watch what you eat because most people get their potassium from the food they eat. Having too much potassium in the body can lead to Hyperkalemia which can cause heart failure.
As for side effects, I can’t give a precise answer because I don’t have any experience with Cozaar and Paxil. As always, consult with a professional, such as your doctor or someone who specialized in these kind of medicine before mixing Cozaar.
The problem with these types of medicine is that they are not made to cure you. Drug companies purposely do this so they can make as much money as they can from you. Try going on a healthy diet by eating organic food rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber, and avoid processed food, especially fast food. These types of food is one of the best tools for preventing health problems.
Me and my husband wanted to have child. My age 38 and my husband 40, we married for 5 years. What supplement should we take? Is double x is enough?
If you are talking about just vitamins than Double X should be enough. Double X has good amounts of B-vitamins which is important for pregnancy, especially vitamin B9. One serving of double x contains B-12 (375% DV), B-9 (100% DV), B-7 (50% DV), B-6 (375% DV), B-5 (250% DV), B-3 (100% DV), B-2 (375% DV), B-1 (375% DV) per serving. Vitamin B9 is important during pregnancy because it helps prevent neural tube defects in newborns. The only thing about Double X that concerns me is that at least half of their B-vitamins are synthetic and not natural. I suggest staying away from synthetic vitamins if you are pregnant.
Make sure you are getting enough proteins, carbohydrates, good fats, vitamins, and minerals from healthy food, such as fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water (about 6-8 cups per day). When going on a supplement diet, make sure you don’t take too much of the fat-soluble vitamins because these vitamins stays in your body longer and can be toxic in the long-run. As always, consult with your doctor before going on any major diet.
Visit the first link below for some great information about B-vitamins and their functions. I also added other links that might help improve your energy and health during pregnancy.

I have been taking Double X for about 2 years and whenever I forget to take it for a day, I notice a big difference in my energy levels.
Highly recommend it. Just make sure you eat it with or immediately after a meal. These vitamins break down quickly and will upset an empty stomach.
I was planning to buy DoubleX for my parents. they have joint pains, is this multivitamin recommended for joint pains. They have already tried One a day but that was not much of help. Please advice. Thanks.
For joint pains, I would recommend foods that contained high-quality omega 3, such as walnuts, flaxseed and vegetables. Fish is a decent source too but is not as good as plant foods. For fish, salmon, herring, sturgeon and mackerel are decent sources. Eat fish in moderate levels because fish tends to have mercury and other toxins. Flaxseed dietary supplement (softgel) is also a good source but is very concentrated. Instead of using anti-inflammatory drugs (if possible), add more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Many fruits and vegetables are high in antioxidants which are known to reduce the effects of free-radicals. Free-radicals are known to cause many diseases, including joint pain. If you are really serious about treating joint pains, a 100 percent raw plant-based diet is recommended by many private health expert.

Is it safe to consume Double-X during pregnancy?
Some of the minerals and vitamins in Double X are synthetic which may cause negative effects to you and your baby’s health. Although, the chance of that happening is minimal. Because synthetic vitamins are created in labs, there is always a chance of them not being created properly. Also, contamination is also a problem such as aluminum contamination. I suggest finding a dietary supplement that uses natural vitamins instead of synthetic. Natural vitamins made from whole food are usually more effective. Make sure you get enough of vitamin B9 because it helps prevent neural tube defects in newborns.
Hello- Does your product line carry a 100% guarantee of no banned substances for olympic athletes? Please advise.
Thank you,
Marcia
As far as I know, Double X doesn’t have any banned substances. I don’t sell Double X so I don’t know for sure. According to Nutrilite, Asafa Powell, an Olympic gold medalist and one of the world’s fastest men, uses Double X.
Yes double x has nothing in it banned by the WADA (world anti-doping agency)so is safe to take for athletes. and Amway Global forces it’s IBO to take back any product it sells at 100% money back. even if its empty and you say ‘meh i dont like it’you get all your money back. My parents are IBO’s and I’ve heard / seen this a few times. a link to there website is linked.
this thing makes you [text removed] green….
Hello,
I am a distributer of Nutrilite products, the products are great! My friends use it and have found that they have more energy throughout the day. Severeal of my friends had low energy but now are able to have more active lifestyles that they always wanted.
Since you are a distributor, do you know if Double X vitamins are safe to take with birth control pills, such as Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Or will it interfere with it? Thanks for any help.
Please let me know if kid of the age of 7 years can take Double X multi-vitamin tablets and what dosage?
I don’t recommend giving kids too much multivitamins because most multivitamins are synthetic and cheaply made. Also, private studies found out that many vitamin supplements are contaminated with harmful substances such as aluminum. Double X has a good amount of synthetic vitamins. There are dietary supplements that contained natural vitamins. Most of them are available as single vitamin or a group of vitamins, such as B-complex. Multivitamins are not created to replace the essential nutrients found in natural food. Vitamins in nature are very complex, extracting every components in the chemical structure of a vitamin is very expensive. This is why most multivitamin companies don’t extract the whole chemical structure of their vitamins. If they were to make all their vitamins natural (organic), a bottle of their multivitamin would cost a few hundred dollars.
If you want to increase your kid’s nutrient intakes, raw plant-based food and whole food is the best for that. If you are going to give your kid Double X, 1 tablet of each vitamin per day should be fine.
i’m a distributor of nutrilite and has been seeking so much about nutrilite before joining amway. i’ve got many experiences consuming double x and there were no negatives or what so ever. actually double x are truly natural and approved by WADA. consuming it once a day would be great for your body and i have seen many people that came to me and told me how their pain like athritis, high blood pressure, joint pain, back pain, etc slowly by time gone. i do experience one pain myself and now started to play sports again. since 2005 double x were upgraded and came to be more positive side.
When you say one serving, what do you mean?
Is it 1 gold, 1 silver, & 1 bronze double X tabs a day? Thanks,
Yes, one serving of Double X is: 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze tablet.
Hi, my name is Claudia I have been taking double x since 4 years ego, I have 2 girls and a boy, and they don’t have any problems at all. They don’t even visit the doctor frecuently like other childen. And my recuperation after delivery was even faster as my first baby (in that time I did not take vitamins). I’m so happy to find this suplements
Given multiple claims that Nutrilite contains all natural ingredients, what evidence do you have that it contains synthetics? One of my friends distributes the stuff and he’s somewhat annoyingly adamant about it.
Hello Mike,
The reason why I said that some of the vitamins and minerals in Double X are not natural is because they are isolated forms. Although, they are natural to a certain point, they are not found like that in whole food. For example, folic acid (found in Double X) is the isolated form of folate. Folate is made up of naturally occurring chemical compounds called polyglutamates. Because folic acid is the isolated form, it is missing many of the benefits of the non-isolated form. Most folic acid found in dietary supplement is processed in labs because it is cheaper. The same goes for many other vitamins and minerals. If Double X was “all natural” it would cost a few hundred dollars.
The term “natural” can be misleading. Food and supplement manufacturers don’t have to go through a verification process to use the term natural on their products. This means that they can add synthetic vitamins, minerals and preservatives and still claim that their products are natural. As for the term “organic,” they have to go through a verification process.
It all depends on how you defy the term “natural”. This is why I said that the term natural can be misleading. I define natural as something that is in its pure natural state. If its chemical compounds are altered or isolated from its whole chemical structure, than it is not 100 percent natural.
What are some cheaper alternatives to this?
Some of the cheaper alternatives to Double X are Advance Formula Centrum and One-A-Day. Although they are cheaper, they most likely contain cheap synthetic vitamins too.
If you are a person who likes to go the natural route. I suggest visiting NaturallyDirect. It is one of the few sites that is able to back up some of its claims. According to NaturallyDirect, many of its vitamins are extracted from whole and organic food. By reading its food labels, it looks like it is using more natural vitamins than most vitamin companies. Another website that is even better is Nutrimedical. Its supplements are one of the best I have seen. Many of its supplements use high quality vitamins and chelated minerals.
I bought the Double X vitamins for quite a few years, and really liked them. I’m taking a liquid vitamin called 10-in-One through GBG, which is about $20 less expensive for a month’s supply, and I feel it has a wider array of ingredients.
PL, are there any ingredients that Nutrilite puts in their products (double x, slimmetry, carb blocker etc) that are potentially harmful and could cause possible death?
I want to sell Nutrilite Products but I dont want to be responsible if people get stupid and dont take the supplements properly and hurt themselves.
Thanks
Hello Lou,
Out of the 3 Nutrilite vitamin you mentioned, Double X is the one I’m the most concerned because it contains synthetic vitamins. Synthetic vitamins may not be harmful at first but in the long-run it may be toxic and may help cause certain diseases. Carb Blocker and Slimmetry seems to be natural because their vitamins are extracted from herb sources. Although, they are not 100 percent natural because some of their ingredients are not found like that in nature. By looking at their ingredients, I didn’t see any ingredients that are very hazardous. Some researchers suggested that silicon dioxide can be toxic to the body which is found in Carb Blocker and Slimmetry.
If they follow the product’s directions, it shouldn’t cause any major health problems. If it was up to me, I would rather have people consume organic “raw” plant-based food to get their vitamins. These types of food have hundreds, maybe thousands of nutrients, some even not yet known to scientist.
What do you think about these vitamins? And thanks for the quick response.
http://www.naturallydirect.net/natural-multvitamin.html
By looking at its ingredient list and supplement facts, I would say it is better and more natural than most supplements. The only way to really know for sure is to find a scientist to test the vitamins. If I was looking for a supplement to buy, this vitamin that you linked to would be one of my choices.
If you do end up purchasing this supplement, stop back and let me know if this is a supplement that you would recommend.
It’s funny you say find a scientist to test them as I am one thought I deal mostly with ecology and the marine environment. When I get some money I’ll check them out.
One of these days I may have to find a chemistry expert or hire a chemistry professor from the University of Minnesota to test a few of the top multivitamin and write a post about it. I think it would be very interesting to see the results! This way there will be no lobbyists or vitamin manufacturers influencing the results.
Thanks for the review,
imho your review seems to be the most fair and honest..
and now im planning to get a better alternatives than
double x.
any suggestion?
regards
ryan
I’m glad that my review helped you out! As for an alternative, it is hard to say because most multivitamins are full of unnatural and cheap ingredients.
For now, the link from Silver J is the multivitamin that looks natural enough to consume on a daily basis. Visit the link below for more details.
http://www.naturallydirect.net/natural-multvitamin.html
A site that I recommend for buying supplement is Nutrimedical. It has one of the best vitamins on the market.
As always, look at the supplement facts and ingredient list before purchasing vitamin supplement because they will usually tell you if the vitamin supplement contain high quality vitamins or not.
Do double x vitamins interfere with birth control pills?
As far as I know there are no vitamins that can significantly interfere with birth control pills. Although, certain health experts claimed that birth control pill can prevent the body from assimilating vitamin C, B6, B9 and B12 properly.
Two substances that you should be aware of are Soy Isoflavones and St. John’s Wort. These two substances have been known to interfere with birth control pill. Certain antibiotics are known to reduce the effectiveness of birth control pill too. The two that I heard of are Rifampin and Rifabutin.
I began taking double x as a scheptic but I truly saw the energy and how my health improved, I was no longer making a trip to the doctors office every 2 months because I was sick. I eventually became an IBO to get the best pricing for myself and a few other family members that now take the vitamins as well.
Hi,
) My husband is a professional power lifter and Double X is on the only “multi-vitamin” that he takes. He also uses Nutrilite’s sports bars, drinks and protein powders/shakes.
Even though I am a Quixtar IBO, I would like to think of my opinion as un-biased since we started using quixtar’s products before we got into the business.
Nutrilite has been around for many many many years and people like my grandparents and great grand parents have been using their products since the company was started.
My great-grandmother was one of the first IBO’s. She actually knew Jay Van Andle (Co-founder of Amway).
She used all of their products and lived a long life and died of old age.
My grandmother and grandfather are in their 80’s and are still going strong, they both work full time, exercise and have tons of energy. They give Double X all the credit. My mother also takes Double X. My husband and I have noticed a significant change in our energy and over all well being since taking Double X on a daily basis. I take Double X in the morning and late at night before I go to bed. I have even noticed that I am sleeping more soundly and waking feeling energized and in a good mood… (not a morning person
Thanks!
My partner has Hepatitis C. Would this be safe for him?
As far as I know, it should be safe. If your partner has liver problem, he/she may want to talk to his/her doctor before going on any supplement diet. I suggest taking one serving of Double X per day. If there is no side effects, then your partner may increase the serving to two per day.
Certain researchers found that high doses of vitamin C or plant sterols and sterolins can treat or may even cure hepatitis C. Your partner may want to look into this. It may be better and cheaper for your partner to buy vitamin C, or plant sterols supplement instead of Double X.
Your partner shouldn’t consume high doses of the fat-soluble vitamins (A,D,E,K) for long periods of time. These vitamins are harder for the body to excrete which can lead to vitamin toxicity.
Nutrilite has Bio C Plus as separate vitamin supplement.
Chang keeps saying “as far as I know” in a lot of his replies. I would like to know positively if there any animal products in nutrilite double x.
Does double X help you lose weight?
Double X can help increase your metabolism because it contained B-vitamins but the increase may not be that significant. One of the glands that controls metabolism is the thyroid gland. If your thyroid gland is not working properly, detoxing or changing you diet to more organic plant-based will help.
The metabolism process is very complex. It involves many things, such as: the thyroid gland, BMR, diet, insulin and enzyme levels, your activity level and total calorie intake per day.
Below are two links that I think can help you learn more about weight loss.

Hi there,
I’ve just discovered I’m pregnant! I’m 37 yrs old and this is my third pregnancy. I have a 12 yr old daughter and twin boys who are 7 yrs old. I’m taking Nutrilite vitamin – Calcium Magnesium, Vitamin B Complex, Concentrated Fruit & Veg, Vitamin C Plus and Omega 3. Should I continue with these vitamin or include more. Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
The vitamins you mentioned should be safe enough as long as you don’t consumed more than the recommendation per serving. The vitamins that you should be careful of are fat-soluble vitamins because they are harder for the body to excrete. Vitamin A, D, E and K are fat-soluble vitamins. Vitamin toxicity is usually rare. Most of the time vitamin toxicity occurs because of poor quality vitamins or contamination. Most vitamins and minerals found in dietary supplements are synthetic because they are created in labs. The main reason is because it is cheaper which yields more profit. When it comes to your baby’s health, going the cheap route may not be the best route.
Independent researchers suggested that most calcium supplements are contaminated with aluminum. At high levels aluminum is very toxic to the brain. To reduce aluminum absorption, avoid taking vitamin C or citrate supplement with food and other supplement. Many health experts believed aluminum toxicity is the main reason for an increase in health problems in infants because it can bypass the placenta and blood/brain barrier.
Visit the link below for more information about aluminum toxicity.

To be on the safe side, you should replace some of your supplements with organic fruits and vegetables. Their vitamins are natural and contain other synergistic components that are not found in supplements. Also, consult with your doctor before going on any supplement diet while you are pregnant.
Hello,
I am an Amway Global IBO. I have been taking Double X for the past month and a half, and I have to say, after reading every comment on here, PL Chang is on top of what he is saying.
Taking Double X, you feel amazing, I am always in a good mood now, noticed a huge energy boost daily, my metabolisim has sped up, I’m no where near as tired at work everyday, and even my roomate used to get painful migraines almost everyday, he has been taking Double X for a month, and has not had a headache since.
Even though I sell it, I recommend it to everyone, merely because it works amazingly. Sure, the taste isn’t the greatest, but as your mom always told you as a child, the medicine that’s tastes the worst, works the best.
Another alternative to the Double X, is the Daily multivitamin available from Nutrilite as well. it is just under half the price, has 100-150% of most of its ingredients.
They also make a Daily Free multivitamin, the Daily Free has no Iron in it, so you don’t have to worry about consuming too much Iron.
Does Double X help women woho are trying to conceive?
According to researchers, vitamin C can aid in conception. Double X does contain vitamin C but it is not the version found in nature. The vitamin C found in Double X is ascorbic acid. The differences between the two may not be that significant. The vitamin C found in nature contains the whole chemical structure and many other synergistic components which can increase its effectiveness.
Because Double X contain ascorbic acid, it may help with conception. I don’t think it will help too much. I suggest adding more organic fruits and vegetables in your diet, drink more filtered water and exercise regularly. Combining these methods with supplements and it should increase your chance of conceiving.
If you are into alternative medicine, you may want to look into acupuncture, reiki and other energy healing methods. Most, if not all problems start at the energetic level, then is manifested into physical symptoms.
Women who are trying to get pregnant may want to avoid using tampons. Studies have shown that tampons contain chemicals that may interfere with conception.
Mr. PL,
I have been doing my own study of double X but what multivitamin do you take if any?
Right now I don’t take any multivitamin. I get most of my vitamins and minerals from eating a lot of “raw” organic plant-based foods. In my opinion, they are the best for providing me the essential nutrients needed to sustain a healthy body.
The only vitamin that I take is vitamin D3. I only take it during the winter seasons because of the lack of sunlight. The lack of sunlight makes it harder for the skin to produce vitamin D. According to health experts, vitamin D is very effective at fighting the flu virus.
Hi. I have just started using double x. My niece started using it and said she didn’t notice anything until she stopped – then she felt sluggish and lacking in energy.
Unfortunately, my partner has stopped taking it. He would take the tablets with food, but about an 30 min to an hour later he would get a really bad headache. What is in double x that would cause this?
There could be many reasons why your partner is getting headaches from taking double x. To pinpoint the main reason is not going to be easy. Below are some reasons why double x may be causing your partner headaches.
1. Double x contained a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. Having all those vitamins and minerals in the stomach at once may cause certain reactions that can be uncomfortable. When I used to take double x, I usually got an upset stomach and felt lightheaded after taking it, especially on an empty stomach.
2. The double x that your partner is taking may be contaminated with certain substances that is causing your partner headaches. Independent researchers found out that most vitamin supplements are usually contaminated with harmful substances, such as aluminum. Although, the contamination is usually minor.
3. Your partner’s body may react differently to certain synthetic vitamins.
4. The vitamins and minerals in double x may be helping your partner’s body to remove toxins. During this process, your partner can experience headaches.
These are just a few reasons why you partner may be experiencing headaches after taking double x. If the headaches is really bad, it would be wise to stop taking it until you find the cause of the problem.

Are synthetic vitamins ever used in NUTRILITE products?
Some NUTRILITE supplements contain vitamins from both natural and synthetic sources. We use both sources because, without synthetic vitamins, some of our supplements would not supply the optimum nutrient levels. In these cases, delivering enough nutrients without synthetic vitamins would require tablets that would be far too large for human consumption. So some products are formulated with a combination of synthetic vitamins and plant concentrates to deliver the important phytonutrients along with the nutritional levels that are consistent with leading science.
Are all the ingredients in NUTRILITE products grown at your own farms?
While we strive to grow as many of the plants that go into our concentrates as we can, the total product demand makes it impossible to produce and manufacture all of the ingredients and quantities required. Our stringent Supplier Certification Program ensures that any crops grown by others on our behalf meet our strict GMP standards.
How long are NUTRILITE products on storage shelves before being packaged and shipped?
On average, tablets are stored in the warehouse for less than one week before they are packaged and shipped to more than 40 different countries.
What are NUTRILITE nutrigenomic supplements?
Nutrigenomic supplements are personalized nutrition recommendations designed for certain genotypes, as discovered through DNA testing for a predisposition to certain diseases and conditions.
What quality tests are performed on NUTRILITE products?
Quality experts for the NUTRILITE brand perform over 15,000 tests a month on our products. Seven different types of tests are performed to ensure quality:
1.Dissolution Testing checks for the ability of a nutrient to go into a solution.

Those are some impressive claims! Unfortunately, maybe half of it is true. Most people don’t realized that the scientists doing these tests on Nutrilite’s product are sponsored by Nutrilite. Therefore, these scientists can’t say any or too many negative things about Nutrilite’s product. If they do, they are risking their job or sponsorship. Give double x to independent researchers to do the tests and the result will be different. Why? Because they are not influenced by money. I’m very aware of this which is why I don’t take compensation for my reviews. This way I don’t have to follow companies guideline when reviewing their products.
I have hung around business people long enough to know how the world of business operates. Money is their top priority, then everything else follows. If Nutrilite wants to create vitamin supplements that are better than average, they should of went for the organic seal. I’m sure they didn’t go for the organic seal because they know their vitamins will not be approved. Also, it cost more money and they would have to change how their vitamins are processed. To be able to use the organic seal, companies have to go through a verification process. This process also needs to be renew every so often.
The supplement facts of double x, this also apply to all the other vitamin supplements on the market, are misleading. Their potency levels are usually measured before the final process. Many vitamin supplements are dried with high heat during the final process which can destroy the vitamins, especially the vitamins that are sensitive to heat. Light, moisture and air can also cause vitamins to lose their potency.
I personally think multivitamins are a waste of money because you don’t need all those vitamins at once. If you are worried about vitamin deficiency, go visit your doctor and ask for a blood test. The vitamins that you lack most should be the vitamins that should buy and consume. When the body gets too much of a certain vitamin, it will usually expel it through urine.
I was just wondering, do not take this the wrong way but I would like to know what exactly makes you an expert…
and if you were selling a product, which you kind of do (do you bash your website? do you bash your opinions?), you wouldn’t speak badly about it.
If anyone would like to take a look for themselves about the nutrilite products, here is a link.

I have no interest in selling Nutrilite products. Although, some of their vitamins are decent and they do have good knowledge about the vitamin industry. I don’t like to bash companies. I only like to expose the truth. Whether it is positive or negative, it is still truth. I don’t see how that is bashing a company.
No, obviously you didn’t read my comment or didn’t understand it. I was not asking if you wanted to sell the product. I was stating that in a past comment you made you said that people who sell it and/or the scientists who research it for the company don’t say bad things about Double X. I was simply stating that of course they do not say negative things about their product, they truly believe in it because in most cases they are also customers who take it. I was also saying that this website is your product, you believe in it right? So why would you say bad things about your “product?” And you still did not answer my question, not to be confused with being sarcastic or snarky, but what makes you an “expert?”
Yes, I can see where you are coming from. My website is kind of like my product so I usually don’t say bad things about it. Although, any criticism about my website is appreciated. I see criticism as a good thing, it allows me to see the areas that I need to improve.
It may be true that the scientists who do these test for Nutrilite like their products, but that doesn’t mean that their claims are for the best of the public. We all know how far companies will go to make money off of people. As for the IBOs that sell Nutrilite products, they need to educate themselves more so they are not misleading their customers (meant this in the nicest way possible).
I don’t consider myself an expert, just a regular person who likes to think outside of the box, like Albert Einstein. Unfortunately, people who think outside of the box are considered “bad” people. Most of my knowledge comes from hanging out with nutritionists, alternative medicine practitioners, and from reading books that are outside the realm of conventional medicine. I’m also a certified Reiki practitioner. I don’t like to rely on the conventional education system because I see a lot of flaws in it.
As a person who study quantum mechanics, consciousness science, alternative medicine, conventional medicine, western and eastern medicine, and Reiki (all on my spare time), I do have more knowledge than most people in these fields and I’m able to understand things that most people don’t. Even with all these knowledge, I don’t consider myself as an expert and I’m no better than anyone else. I will never consider myself as an expert because knowledge is infinite. The knowledge that I learn today may not be true tomorrow because new ideas are always popping into existence. I personally think that people who think they are experts are being a little naive.
They raised the price quite a bit since I was selling them a few years ago.. thankfully the vitamins I’m taking now are less than $30 for a month’s supply.
