How to Stay Energized – Energy Tips
Your body’s main source of energy is glucose which comes from carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids (proteins). Glucose is combined with oxygen in your body to produce energy.
To reduce your body from feeling fatigue all the time just follow these tips.
- Don’t skip meals, especially breakfast because your body needs to refuel for the long day.
- Carbohydrate is the main source of energy for your brain, muscles and central nervous system. Your sources of carbohydrate should be from whole foods because they are full of other essential nutrients.
- Start the day consuming lots of carbohydrate rich foods, like cereal and wholegrain bread. If you are trying to lose weight, go on a low-carb and plant-based diet. Once your body runs out of carbs, it goes after fat to burn for energy.
- Don’t consume simple carbohydrates (candy, fruits, sweets, etc.) because simple carbs turn to glucose quickly, resulting in a burst of energy. If you consumed too much simple carbs, the extra carbs will usually end up being stored as fat.
- Consume more complex carbohydrates (brown rice, veggies, whole grain breads). These carbs take longer to break down into glucose resulting in longer energy.
- Drink plenty of fresh filtered water and stay cool so you dehydrate less. For best result, install a fluoride removal water filter system.
- Always eat food fresh and eat fruits and vegetable raw whenever possible. Cooking fruits and vegetables will destroy a good portion of their nutrients which are essential for energy production.
- A common cause of fatigue is not enough sleep. Try to get about 8 hours of sleep per night, sleep is your best weapon against body fatigue.
- Being physically active and exercising will help reduce body fatigue.
- Think positively through out the day!
