Snake Eyes Citrus energy drink comes in a lime green 16 fl. oz. aluminum can with a snake logo in the middle. The graphics are plain and simple but eye catchy due to the solid green color that stands out from its competitors. Snake Eyes Citrus energy drink has a citrus taste similar to Red Bull but slightly sweeter. The nice thing about this energy drink is that it doesn’t have a bizarre aftertaste like other energy drinks.
Snake Eyes Citrus didn’t surprised me much with its taste but its energy level was incredible. After 10 minutes of drinking the energy drink I felt more awake, the energy rush didn’t hit me hard until 10 minutes after finishing the drink (note: I drank the whole can in about 15 minutes). The energy rush lasted for about an hour, then the stimulant rush took over and lasted for 2 more hours. Snake Eyes Citrus main energy is powered by inositol (member of the vitamin B complex), taurine, B-vitamins, sugar and claimed to increase focus, improve performance, increase endurance and energy boost. This energy drink cost $1.99 before tax which is very competitive for the amount of energy you get.
Overall, Snake Eyes Citrus Flavored energy drink is above average. There wasn’t a big surprise in its taste but its energy level was top notch. I’m surprised that after two hours of drinking Snake Eyes Citrus, I can still feel the energy working its magic to keep me up. I recommend this energy drink to anyone who wants a quick burst of incredible energy, don’t mind the extra caffeine and sugar, and like the taste of citrus.
Note: Don’t drink this energy drink too quickly or on a empty stomach, you might get slight headaches from its intense energy rush.
