Out of the 3 Hype energy drinks I reviewed, this one is by far my favorite because of its taste and burst of energy. Hype MFP comes in a 8.4 fl. oz. can and is wrapped with a carbon fiber texture. The texture reminded me of the carbon fiber hoods that I see on high performance race cars. On top of the carbon fiber texture is the bold-chrome “HYPE” letters that angle to the right giving it a racing style feeling.

The MFP version had a light sour-candy-tart taste similar to Red Bull. The only thing about the taste that kind of irritated me is the aftertaste, which tasted somewhat like bitter lime juice. The color of the liquid is slightly yellow and is carbonated for extra refreshment. Hype MFP also has a strong smell from the added energy ingredients, kind of reminds me of herbal drinks but I’m glad it doesn’t taste like one. Price is cheaper than most energy drinks depending if you buy it as a bundle or by itself, the cost is about $1.50 - $2.00 per can.

Energy boost comes from guarana, ginseng, glucuronolactone, taurine, lots of caffeine and vitamins. I’m surprised how much energy this drink gave me. Within 10-15 minutes after drinking this energy drink, I felt a body and energy head buzz that kept me energized for about an hour.

Overall, Hype MFP is great when it comes to its energy level. If you are planning road trips or going out late, make sure you bring this energy drink along because it will kick you wide awake. I don’t recommend this energy drink for people who are sensitive to caffeine and sugar because it gave me a slight headache after drink it, maybe because I drank it too fast!
