Orange Tea Energy is a smoothie that is soothing, relaxing and full of energy. It has about 31 grams of carbs, 3.5 grams of fiber and 2 grams of protein to boost your energy after a long day of work. Combining orange juice and tea is a great way to increase your energy quickly while at the same time protecting your body from harmful free radicals.
Quick tips: for a thinner smoothie use non-frozen fruits, for a thicker smoothie use more frozen fruits.
Orange Tea Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup of orange (peeled and cut into pieces)
- 2-1/2 cup of orange juice concentrated (frozen)
- 1-1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 or 2 pinches of ground cinnamon
- 1 or 2 teaspoons of honey (depending on how sweet you want)
- 1 cup of brewed tea of your choice (slightly frozen or frozen into ice cubes)
- Combine all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth, serves about 2 people.
