In the far east energy exercises such as Tai Chi and Qigong are practiced everyday to improve energy flow of the meridians in the body. Many meridian experts believe there are twelve main meridians in the body. Each meridian relates to certain specific organs in the body. In China, energy is known as chi or qi. It is believed to be created by two opposing forces which are ying and yang. The yang represents masculine energy and the ying represents feminine energy.
