Monster M-80 is a energy drink that comes in a gray aluminum can. The can is loaded with taurine, ginseng, B-vitamins and L-carnitine to boost your energy so you can party all night. I bought this energy drink at the Holiday gas station for $2.29 (without tax) which is a little expensive for an energy drink. Then again, most 16 fl. oz. energy drinks cost about $2.29.
M-80 comes with 80 percent juice and 100 percent monster, the carbonated juice is light yellow and tasted somewhat like soda with a little bit of banana juice and pineapple. The juice also had a light sour aftertaste that can stick to the back of the throat. Even though it is 80 percent juice, many of its ingredients are not natural. One of them is its B-vitamin which is synthetic.
M-80′s energy is above average. Its energy rush last for about an hour but isn’t as intense as Crunk Energy. One of the thing that surprise me about Monster M-80 is that it didn’t give me headaches, most energy drinks with high caffeine and sugar tend to give me light headaches after drinking them. This is why I don’t drink them no more.
Monster M-80 is an energy drink that lives up to its name because its flavor and energy rush is above average. If you like the taste of pineapple and banana, then this energy drink is for you. Monster M-80 has high levels of caffeine, sugar and synthetic vitamins, please drink in moderate.
