Calcium Smoothie - Recipe

Calcium Energy is a smoothie created to help teens and adults build stronger bones. Increasing the level of calcium intake may also prevent osteoporosis. Raspberry and strawberry are high in calcium, adding these two main ingredients with yogurt and milk will make an incredible smoothie loaded with calcium and energy.

Quick tips: for a thinner smoothie use non-frozen fruits, for a thicker smoothie use more frozen fruits.

Calcium Energy Smoothie Recipe

  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 cup of unsweetened strawberries (sliced and frozen)
  • 1 cup of raspberry yogurt or yogurt of your choice (low-fat)
  • 1 cup of milk (low-fat)
  • Add ice cubes if needed
  • Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth, serves about 2 people.
