Hangover Smoothie – Energy Smoothie Recipe
If you party a lot or used to party, you have probably encountered the negative side effects of alcohol called hangover. Waking up with a hangover is no fun because of the headaches and nausea. Getting up from bed is like trying to climb a wall after three days of starvation. Plus, the thought of vomiting does not help either. The nausea feeling you get from hangovers is because of the lack of water and excess alcohol in your body. If you want to get rid of your hangover quickly, you need to rehydrate your body. Some people like to drink coffee to help wake them up but coffee may dehydrate you more and make your hangover worse. From experience, I know that drinking plain water can make you feel even more nausea. Instead of drinking plain water, try mixing yourself a smoothie to rehydrate your body and boost your energy at the same time.
Quick tips: For a thinner smoothie use non-frozen fruits, for a thicker smoothie use more frozen fruits. Organic ingredients are preferred.

Orange juice is also great for a hangover. and according to my auntie, fountain soda with the lid open. i agree with the water thing. it always makes me feel worse. but going back to smoothies…they’re also good for motion sickness. i was riding in the back of my friend’s truck and well i forgot just how sick i can feel riding in the back of his truck for long periods of time. i thought i was going to throw up. but we stopped at jamba juice and i ordered the berry upbeet smoothie and the feeling of wanting to throw up went away almost immediately. smoothies are great because they have lots of vitamins in them.
