XS Citrus Blast is invented for people who love the taste of citrus which is why it is infused with the flavors of orange, lemon and lime. The light-orange energy juice is carbonated to add freshness to the flavor and has 0 carbs, 0 sugar and only 8 calories. The most noticeable taste is orange-citrus which is not surprising; the carbonated juice makes the energy drink taste more like orange soda. Overall, the citrus flavor is above average but doesn’t compare to Sobe Essential Energy Orange.

XS Citrus Blast’s energy comes from B-vitamins, amino acids and adaptogenic herbs which gives you energy endurance instead of a short burst of energy. The Citrus Blast’s energy did not last as long as some of the XS energy drinks I reviewed but kept me alert and focus for about an hour. One of the thing that concerns me about XS energy drinks is their vitamin B12 levels. This flavor has 4,900 percent of the percent daily value. To be safe you should limit one can per day or less.

XS Citrus Blast is one of the better citrus flavored energy drinks on the market. The artificial sweetener adds a slightly different sweetness to the flavor but is nothing you can not get use to. If you like the taste of citrus, want an energy drink that does not give you headaches, and want to keep the weight off, then this energy drink could be the one you been searching for.
