Release Energy Balance Your Qi

The problem with most people’s qi is that their qi ends up being saturated with negative energy from the surroundings which disrupts the energy pathways (meridians) in their bodies. This can lead to health problems and make them more vulnerable to diseases.

The energy exercise below is designed to release excess energies through stretching and breathing. The exercise also helps expel negative energies and replenishes the body with fresh oxygen, and opens meridians in the body to allow better energy flow. Practicing this energy exercise when you are fatigued or sick can help you feel better and increase your energy level.

Follow these 6 steps to balance your qi (energy)

  1. Stand up with your legs shoulders’ width apart and arms relaxed by your thighs with your fingers spread.
  2. Take a deep breath through your nose, then bring both of your palms to your chest. The inner of your palms should contact each other, similar to a prayer position.
  3. While breathing deeply through your nose, stretch the right arm up with your right inner-palm facing upward, like you are pushing something above. At the same time, stretch your left arm down with your left inner-palm facing downward. Hold this position for about 10 seconds or as long as you feel comfortable and then release your breath and return your arms back to the praying position.
  4. Repeat step 3 but this time stretch the left arm up and right arm down. Hold this position for as long as you feel comfortable and then release your breath and return back to the praying position with your palms by your chest.
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4 one more time.
  6. Once you are done repeating step four, instead of bring your palms back to the praying position. Slowly bring both of your arms down beside your hips while bending your knees slightly. While in this position, take 2 to 3 deep breaths, then return to the standing position and finish it with a backward roll of the shoulders.
