Interesting. The thought of the 65 grams of carbs should be scary, right???? Seems very high, especially if they are type 2 diabetic. Any thoughts

It depend on what kind of carbs. The good carb, also known as complex carb is actually good for diabetics because it takes the body longer to break down the carb into glucose. The result is that glucose is released to the bloodstream at a steady rate. The types of food that diabetics should concentrate on is foods that are rated low on the glycemix index. Most fruits, vegetables and whole grains have low GI levels.
The only ingredient I see on the flaxseed recipe that might be bad for diabetics is the low-fat yogurt and maybe the soy milk. Low-fat yogurt usually have sugar in it.
I do not have diabetes but from my knowledge, people with diabetes can still eat small amounts of sugar (simple carbs). They just have to really watch their blood sugar levels. Correct me if I’m wrong.
