Energy and its Health Benefits

Energy is something that we see and sense everyday but most of us don’t really know what energy is, even physicists have a hard time explaining what energy is. In school we were taught that energy was the ability to do work and can’t be created or destroyed, but can only be converted from one form to another. We also were taught that there are different forms of energy, such as: kinetic, potential, gravitational, thermal, elastic, electromagnetic, chemical, nuclear and mass. These types of energy is what I called “normal energies” but what about the energy that we see as abnormal, such as subtle energy, dark energy, spiritual energy and magnetoelectric energy.
In my opinion, energy is the fundamental force responsible for everything that we see in the Universe. It is the universal force that connect us back to Creation which gives us life, consciousness and intelligence. According to Cosmologists, about 70 percent of the Universe consists of dark energy and about 25 percent is dark matter (matter we can’t see). This means that 95 percent of the Universe is made out of abnormal energies. Therefore, the normal energies only make up about 5 percent of the total amount of energy in the Universe. Cosmologists are basically saying that our understanding of energy is still in its infancy state and we are barely scratching the surface.
Believe it or not, your body is made out of energy and it plays an important role for keeping you healthy. The energy responsible for this is called subtle energy. In Eastern societies, subtle energy is known as qi (chi), chakras, prana, ki and is easily accepted by their cultures. Western societies have a harder time accepting subtle energy because their cultures do little to help them understand subtle energy. It wasn’t until recently that Western society started to accept subtle energy more because their scientists were able to detect it.
Energy healers believed that the body and its energy are like two parallel forces, when the energy is vibrant and healthy so is the body. They believed there are energy systems in every living person, which are known as meridians and chakras. When these energy systems get disrupted for a period of time, the body starts to break down and diseases may occur. Energy healers believed that the key to health and vitality is to keep the body’s energy balanced as much as possible.
Energies from the Sun and Earth can affect how energy flows in your body because their energies can increase or decrease the vibrational rate of your energy. Your body’s energy is always interacting with the energies around it and uses the energies to warm, cool, calm, rejuvenate and even harm you. People who live in harmony with nature tend to be healthier because their energy systems are more balance. When you surround yourself with stress, artificial light, pollution and unhealthy food on a regular basis, your energy systems can get so disrupted that their energy pathways can clogged up. This makes it harder for your body to heal itself. If left undone your body may become very ill.
Subtle energy is actually not as abnormal as we may think, around the world many cultures practiced healing exercises which involved subtle energy. In China people practiced tai chi regularly to stimulate and balance their subtle energy. In India people practiced yoga to balance their energy and vitality. Most people from Western cultures don’t practice yoga and tai chi as much. Instead, they used massages to stimulate their subtle energy which is known as Chiropractic.
