Nos Energy took me awhile to review because the way the can was designed looked unappetizing to me. The can reminded me of nitrous bottles which subconsciously made me think that it was a poisonous drink. Putting my negative thoughts aside, I decided to give this energy drink a try and the results were stunning.
The two most noticeable flavors of Nos Energy are orange and passion-fruit. The flavor tasted similar to orange fruit drinks but with a mild-stale aftertaste. Its yellow energy juice is carbonated and powered by taurine, L-carnitine, caffeine, sugar, inositol, panax ginseng and B-vitamins. The energy rush from Nos Energy was above average and there were no major side effects. However, I did experience minor side effects, such as light headaches and stomachaches. If you drink Nos Energy on an empty stomach, its energy rush and side effects may be more intensified.
In conclusion, Nos Energy is a drink that reflects beyond its image because of its great taste and energy rush. If you are a person who likes intense energy rush and orange flavored drinks, this may be the energy drink you have been searching for. Nos Energy is very high in caffeine (125 mg per serving), people who are sensitive to caffeine should stay away from this energy drink. Nos also contains unhealthy ingredients, please drink with care.

Hello energy and health fanatics, independent thinkers, truth seekers and freedom lovers! My name is Pao L. Chang, and I’m the author and founder of EnergyFanatics.com. My goal is to provide you with knowledge that is beyond the conventional matrix to help free your mind and increase your well-being to a whole new level. One of the things that motivated me to start this blog is the fact that most human beings are unaware that we are being lied to, dumbed down, and brainwashed by the “authorities” that we are supposed to trust. This crime against humanity goes far beyond what most of us can comprehend, and it has polluted all the systems of our planet, including the health, financial, educational, religious, political, and energy systems....
I DRINK RIP IT AND MAD JOKER ENERGY DRINK. THEY
BOTH TEST PRETTY GOOD IN SUGAR FREE FLAVOR. IT COST ONLY A $1.00 FOR 160Z. I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS SAFE BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. IT DOSE WORK FOR ME.JUST WANT TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.
yeah. goood taste. but it doesnt work at all
I haven’t try Mad Joker but Rip It Sugar Free uses an artificial sweetener called sucralose. Some researchers believed it is a toxin and some don’t. In my opinion, sucralose should be safe enough as a sweetener because it is not lethal. However, in the long-run sucralose may cause chronic diseases. You can read more about artificial sweeteners at the URL below.

Energy drinks are like soft drinks, they are not made to drink on a regular basis. Drinking a few energy drinks per a week should be fine. Just don’t drink it on a daily basis.
I just had a nos drink after a 5 hour energy shot and my hands are shaking and I am hyper. I recommend this to anyone who is tired
Get ready for the ride of your life!!!
@nancy jones – I think the only side effect of those drinks is inappropriate use of CAPS LOCK.
NOS is poison. It has enough caffeine to mess up your system and you will not be able to sleep at all after having any. STAY AWAY.
That is complete crap! I am currently enrolled in college and work midnights so I always need a pick-me-up around 0400. NOS is the only drink that works and doesn’t make me shaky! 5 hour energy is absolute crap! Coffee and No Doze don’t work either. I am totally behind NOS and can go to sleep right when I get home from work.
So what are you doing, chugging the whole thing? I love NOS, for the simple fact that it tastes good with or without carbonation, and with or without a refrigeration chill. It has a mild grapefruit flavor mixed with orange, and it’s very pleasant. Is it strong? Yes, but as a long-duration sipping drink it beats anything else out there.
For whatever reason NOS is the only energy drink that actually does anything for me I tell a few people every day about this product for that reason. Don’t have it too late at night though. I had one at 10 Friday and was laying in bed wide awake-heart pounding until 4. The grape is my favorite so far
it dose NOT taste like oranges.
it does taste like oranges!!
some taste like grapes
and others taste like crap!!
these things are bad for you…
This is a “health” site promoting a high caffeine, multiple artificial coloring, high sugar drink? A drink that is typically consumed at 2 to 2.75 servings per bottle – based on my observation of those around me who drink it.
Great “health site”, I won’t be surprised when I find you endorsing Mountain Dew, Coca Cola, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs (recreational or other)as a healthy choice as well.
For anyone who cares, these drinks are worse for you than soda in my opinion.
Hello,
Yes, I agree with you that energy drinks are not healthy.
When I first started this blog, I wasn’t sure which path to take so I started reviewing energy products. After about a year I decided to concentrate more on health and wellness. Therefore, I changed my and content to match it. Also, I don’t review energy drinks anymore but I do still review health supplement drinks, tea, etc. If you weren’t so quick to judge me, you may of notice these changes.
I don’t have any regrets reviewing energy drinks because I did learn a lot from them. To be an expert on something you have to experience the good and the bad side. I know all the pros and cons about them so if you have any questions, just let me know.
Hello,
I was just wondering, how harmful can this energy drink be? Im glad it works for those who need it, but, I only drank half of the 13 fl oz bottle i had and I’m feeling unpleasant effects from it this morning still. last night after I consumed half the bottle, i felt like i was seriously on drugs. I felt weird, not exactly woozy but stretching back to yawn i felt like my eyes could of just rolled back and i could’ve just knocked out/pass out. I didn’t chug it, i just casually sipped it to help me stay awake to study. After two hours of yawning and feeling unpleasant, i decided i would just sleep it off!
Nos, like many other energy drinks is full of synthetic vitamins and chemicals and is high in caffeine. These ingredients are not lethal but they can cause serious side effects if consumed in large quantities. Most people do not experience serious side effects but if you are the sensitive type, you may experience increase of heart rate, jitters, sleeping problems, etc. Energy drinks also promote dehydration because of its ingredients. One of the most dangerous ingredients commonly found in energy drinks is sucralose, an artificial sweetener known to cause serious health problems.
From reading your comment, you may want to avoid drinking energy drinks because of how your body reacts to them. Also, drink more fresh filtered water to hydrate your body and help it detox toxins. For more information about the health hazards of energy drinks, please visit the link below.

I’m definitely staying away from energy drinks now. That experience was just way too off for me. Thank you so much for sharing the information!
You are welcome.
I get a lot of comments similar to yours in my posts about energy drinks. The worst comments related to negative side effects of energy drinks are the energy shots reviews. Readers have commented that they have been to the emergency room after drinking them. Having a strong negative reaction to energy drink is more common than we may think. Most of us are not aware of it because it is something that mainstream media do not talk much about.
With all due respect, good studies showing negative effects of artificial colorings are in short supply. The only negative effects of sugar are relative to activity level, so it is deceiving to claim that sugar is “bad” for you. As to caffeine, I suggest you read the ACSM’s official paper on it before pronouncing judgment.
it’s not orange flavored it’s PASSION FRUIT
I like the ghetto 20 oz. Bottles with the nozzle on the top. It’s funny. And te passion fruit flavor tastes amazing and doesn’t have any aftertaste. This is my néw fav drink
Love NOS! Tastes and works great. I take a drink or two at a time and I’m good to go. Helps studying and there is no problem with sleep. The NOS bottle that looks like a tank of NOS is funny and I always get it. Passion fruit goodness
My friend came over to study with me at my dorm, and he brought 2, 20 oz bottles, and we each drank them fairly quickly. After about an hour he wasn’t feeling good, and then I came here.I know now that he had a headache and an upset stomach because he didn’t have any lunch or dinner (it was around 8:30 PM), but he was more hyper than me. It tastes great too
Is it normal to be seeing red dots?
So yea i drink these on a regular basis and cant seem to function at work with out them there like a addiction i cant break like ciggs. idk why but if i cant have 1 while im at work then i get angry an frustrated like u would with any addiction side effects no i dont even get a rush maby along time ago i didnt but i couldnt remember that far back
i drank nos and it made me feel like i was floating. its a little too much. I think ill stick to the Red Bull for now.
interesting review; I approve of the idea of providing information so that people have the energy available to them if they are interested in such products.
Wow. NOS tastes horrible.
i LOVE nos its so unhealthy but i dnt care
I’m the biggest fudhu and I love NOS energy drinks yo…. nos for ya
i have never had noz before im 13 though and i want to plan to drink it on the 1st day of school.. what do you guys say ?
In my opinion, the age of 13 is a little young to be drinking energy drink. If you are going to drink it no matter what, then drink it in moderate since it is your first time. People have been known to have severe side effects from drinking energy drinks so please drink it with care.
Do it! All the kids will think you are totally cool!
WHY do people buy into the Energy Drink industry?!?! It’s totally unhealthy but such a fad right now—
instead try Nuriche Revive–100% healthy, no caffeine, no sugar, no crash–it’s blowing UP on the college campus scene right now–
EW! I hate the NOS in the blue can. I only drink the fruit punch type and it is delicious. One time I drank it right before bed (because I like the taste so much) and I was shaking and didn’t sleep for most of the night. Another time I drank it because my class was really far away and it helped me get there without being tired.
THIS DRINK IS AMAZING!!!!!!! even though it is supossed “bad” for you it can improve your emotions, energy (for a while) and your reaction time. i cant stand the other energy drinks this is the only one to drink….personally.
Me has never tried Nos before but me still like it so hahahaha
I slam one before I workout. Makes me strong like Russian bull! Also, if you are opposed to energy drinks, perhaps you should not be on a site that reviews them. Just sayin.
it does too taste like oranges!!
Had a Loaded Cherry NOS at 5:00 PM the other day, I was up till 2 in the morning wired like a chipmunk on crack. I did like 3 laps around town off of the energy alone and did really fantastic at an FPS game.
Gonna buy another one here in an hour.
Hello guys,
Where to buy NOS Energy Drink ?
Please share with me.
