GURU is distributed by GURU Beverage Co. which is located in New York, United States. The green aluminum can is filled with 250 milliliters of organic juice and is USDA organic certified. The light-brown non-carbonated energy juice tasted similar to iced tea but with the essence of honey. GURU Iced Tea has an aftertaste that might bother some people. The aftertaste reminded me of the herbal bitterness of tea.
The energy from GURU Iced Tea took longer to kicked in and had no major side effects. I only experienced a slight increased in breathing and heart rate while drinking this supplement drink. The energy rush from Guru Iced Tea was more of a calm steady rush instead of an intense rush. The caffeine and energy blends worked well, and kept me up and alert for over an hour.
GURU Iced Tea is different from the rest of the energy drinks that I reviewed because of its unique iced tea lemon flavor. Iced tea is not one of my favorite beverage to drink so I rated the taste at 6 out of 10. The nice thing about this energy drink is its low sodium level and tea health benefits. If you like the taste of iced tea, you will enjoy this non-carbonated energy drink.
