GURU has 6 different flavored energy drinks and is distributed by GURU Beverage Co. which is located in New York, United States. Its energy drinks are designed for active and health conscious people who want an energy drink that can boost their mental and physical energy during the day.
GURU Energy contains natural concentrated fruit juice. It is lightly carbonated and has no preservatives or taurine. It also contains 91% of organic ingredients and is certified organic by the Quality Assurance International (QAI). The light-brown energy juice has a citrus taste similar to Red Bull. The taste reminded me of grape, apple and a little bit of lemon juice combined. The energy rush from this energy drink was better than my two previous GURU energy drink reviews which was the Iced Tea and Superfruit flavor. The energy rush peaked for about an hour and was noticeable for up to two hours. There was no side effects except the energy head-buzz I felt from the caffeine and energy blends. Its energy is powered by guarana seed extract, echinacea flower extract, panax ginseng root extract, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, caffeine and sugar.
GURU Energy is above average because of its taste and competitive energy boost. Compared to Red Bull this energy drink tasted better because of its superior natural fruit flavor. GURU energy drink is for people who wants a drink that taste more natural and can keep them up when they are tired. GURU energy drinks are not recommended for children, pregnant women and people sensitive to caffeine.
