Using coffee as the main ingredient for an energy drink seems like a bad idea but Monster did a great job creating this coffee flavored energy drink. The most noticeable flavor is coffee and cream with the essence of sweet-caramel. I was surprised that this energy drink was not more bitter. If you have good taste buds, you may noticeable a very-light-bitter aftertaste similar to coffee. Compare to Java Monster Loca Moca, this coffee energy drink is better because Loca Moca is somewhat bitter and taste more like coffee. This energy drink is sweeter and creamier at room temperature, avoid drinking it warm if you do not like the sweet-creamy flavor.

The energy from Java Monster Irish Blend is one of the best because the energy is more intense than most energy drinks and has no major side effects. The first thing I noticed was the caffeine rush which stimulated my head and kept me focused for over two hours. I was surprised that the caffeine rush did not gave me any jitters or light headaches, maybe because I drank the energy drink on a full stomach. I advised not to drink this energy drink on an empty stomach because the side effects may intensify and you may experience an energy crash at the end. Java Monster Irish Blend is an energy drink I will stay away from because it is a little too sweet for my taste and I’m not a big fan of coffee. I recommend Java Monster Irish Blend for people who wants an energy drink that taste similar to coffee and can boost their energy effectively.
