The Eight Major Energy Systems

Today I found a great article at innersource.net about the eight major energy systems and how it relates to your energy health. The philosophy of energy systems have been around for many centuries and are practiced daily in Eastern society. Below are the eight main energy systems believed to exist in the human body.

  1. Meridians - Are invisible energy pathways in the human body that carry energy to all the systems in the body. According to Chinese physicians, meridians are important for mental and physical health because they control the overall health of organs and systems in the body. When meridians are clogged or disrupted for long periods of time, sickness and system failures can occur. Chinese physicians believed that there are twelve main meridians in the human body. Think of meridians as the main highways for energy to travel in your energy field.
  2. Chakras - Are energy center points located at the line of symmetry (center) of the human body. There are believed to be seven chakra, the first one is located near the base of the spine, the seventh one is located at the top of the head and the rest is located in between. Chakras are the supplier of energy for meridians, kind of like how gas stations supply gas for motor vehicles. These energy points are important for mental and physical health. Energy practitioners believed that the experiences you go through in life are coded in the chakras, just as memories are encoded in the brain. Think of chakras as a sphere of energy that spins like a hurricane.
  3. Aura - (also known as energy field) is a electromagnetic field that surrounds and protects a person’s body, similar to how the Earth’s atmosphere protect itself from radiations and asteroids. The Aura is important for your health because it regulates how external energies are transmitted into your body and protects you from harmful energies. Scientist now knows that the aura exist because it can be measured by special energy testing equipments called Aura or Field cameras. The various colors recorded by the camera shows the condition of the aura. The famous equation E = mc2 created by Albert Einstein also proves in a sense that energy field does exist. According to the equation, mass and energy is actually the same thing but in different forms. Therefore, where there is mass there is energy.
  4. Basic Grid - Is the foundation of the body’s energy, similar to the chassis of a car or the skeletal system of the human body. Grid energy is sturdy but also the hardest to fix when damaged. Depending on how severe the damage is, the energy grid usually can’t heal itself. Only through intense energy therapy can the energy grid can be fix. It is important to keep your energy grid healthy because when damaged other energy systems have to adjust which may cause an unbalance in your energy field.
  5. Celtic Weave - (also known as Tibetan Energy Ring) is a network of energy that spins, curve, twist and crisscross each other to unite all the energy systems. Think of the Celtic Weave as a vast network of invisible thread of energy dancing and communicating with one another toward a state of harmony and stability.
  6. Five Rhythms - is an energy system that correlates to the Chinese 5 Element System which are the 4 season plus Indian Summer. This energy system runs through all the energy systems and regulates the tone and mood of the energy systems.
  7. Triple Warmer - Is part of the 14 meridians of the body, its role is to regulate stress, the metabolism and the energies of the immune system. Weakening of this meridian can cause sickness and stress. The triple warmer also relates to the body’s emergency response system, it wakes up whenever danger is near.
  8. Radiant Circuits - Is an energy system that redistribute energies to areas that are most needed, this system is constantly evolving and adapting to the environment. Unlike meridians, the radiant circuits don’t move in a fixed pathways but in a fluid fields, somewhat similar to hyperspace.
