This small bottle is filled with 60 milliliters of light-pink energy juice that packs a pretty good punch of energy for its size. Below the 5 Hour Energy logo are two short sentences that said, “Hours of energy now” and “No crash later”. The sentences did stood up to their claim because the energy was noticeable over two hour and had no noticeable energy breakdown. The energy rush from the citrus flavor kicked in hard but also disappeared quickly which was disappointing.

5 Hour Energy Citrus tasted very sweet and somewhat sour. The energy juice had a minor burning aftertaste that reminded me of berry flavored liquor. The strange thing about this supplement drink is that it did not taste like citrus but more like a bad mixture of melted cotton candy and energy blends. 5 Hour Energy Citrus is very high in vitamins and energy blends. If you have never try 5 Hour Energy, I recommend drinking half of the bottle first until you get use to it. Children should stay away from this dietary supplement drink because it is very high in energy blends and is missing important nutrients to help them grow.
