Strawberries are delicious and nutritious which is why they are popular for energy smoothies. Strawberries are high in vitamin C and contain phytonutrients and antioxidants which are great for fighting free radicals. Strawberries are also great for energy, eye, and brain health and may reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease and high blood pressure.
Quick tips: for a thinner smoothie use non-frozen fruits, for a thicker smoothie use more frozen fruits.
Strawberry Energy Smoothie Recipe 1
- 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries (frozen)
- 1 large banana (peeled, sliced, frozen)
- 3 fresh kiwi (peeled, sliced)
- 3/4 cup of pineapple juice
- Add ice cubes if needed
- Put all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth, serve immediately for best taste.
