The two vitamin smoothie below are designed to boost your vitamin intake by using fruit as the main ingredients. Fruit is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and is great for boosting your energy.
Quick tips: for a thinner smoothie use non-frozen fruits, for a thicker smoothie use more frozen fruits.
Vitamin Energy Smoothie Recipe 1
- 2 mango (peeled, sliced)
- 1 cup of fresh orange juice (chilled)
- 8 ounces of fresh blueberries (frozen)
- 2 tablespoons of flaxseed
- 1 large banana (peeled, sliced, frozen)
- 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
- Add ice cubes if needed
- Put all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth, serve immediately for best taste.
