27th Acupuncture Points of the Kidney Meridian: How to Stimulate Them
Acupuncture points, also known as acupoints are tiny centers of electromagnetic energies that are arranged along the fourteen meridians. These energy spots are where acupuncture needles or acupressure are applied to control pain, treat illnesses and stimulate the body’s energy. The 27th acupuncture points on the kidney meridian, also known as K-27 points, are located near your collarbone below the clavicle. According to acupuncture practitioners, tapping these energy points can increase your vitality and concentration, keeping your immune system strong and reducing stress.
5 easy steps to stimulate your K-27 acupuncture points
- Place your left middle finger on your left clavicle (bumpy part of the collarbone near the sternum). Do the same for your right middle finger by placing it on your right clavicle.
- Move both of your fingers down about an inch and slightly outward. If you are worry that you may not stimulate the right area, use more than one finger.
- Some practitioners like to cross their hands by placing their left fingers on their right kidney points and their right fingers on their left kidney points. Crossing your hands is not essential, but practitioners believed that it helps stimulate the points better.
- With your fingers in position, stimulate the energy points by tapping or massaging the points firmly. Don’t forget to breathe deeply, in through your nose and out through your mouth while doing the exercise. Do this for about 30 seconds and repeat if necessary.
- You can also use one hand to do this exercise by using your thumb and fingers to stimulate the points. Experiment by tabbing and massaging to see which one works best for you.

Acupuncture has been known in China for ages, my mom introduced me to acupunture and i am since been amazed how it can reduce my migraine.
I’m glad to hear that acupuncture is helping you with your migraine.
Acupuncture is a good thing. But not Reiki, since it doesn’t work with the Holy Spirit, but with bad spirits. I have heard of many people having problems after Reiki, the master or the patient. It puts you away from God since you don’t cooperate with the Holy Spirit. There had been people needing exorcism after this, especially those highly involved into this. Whoever goes into Reiki, needs a deliverance prayer or the sacraments to be freed from the evil it brings to the person.
Why is it that you state “The 27 acupuncture points on the kidney meridian are located near your collarbone below the clavicle”? Where in fact there are 27 points on the Kidney meridian – starting with KD 1 on middle of the sole of the foot – and KD 27 located the collarbone below the clavicle near the sternum. Very confusing, do not you think?!
Yes it is confusing. What I meant is the 27th acupuncture points of the kidney meridian. I will update this post so it won’t be confusing. Thank you for letting me know.
