Where To Buy - Rockstar energy drinks are available at most convenience stores nationwide (United States), such as gas stations.

Rockstar made a great decision creating the Punched flavor because this flavor has it own uniqueness compare to the rest of Rockstar energy drinks. Most of Rockstar energy drinks are very sweet and have a light-herbal aftertaste. The Punched flavor does not have the common bitter-sweet-citrus taste like most energy drinks, instead it taste just like carbonated fruit punch. The light-purple energy juice is sweet just like fruit punch and does not have a bitter aftertaste. At room temperature the carbonated energy juice has a light sourness and is somewhat syrupy. I suggest drinking this energy supplement drink cold to avoid the sweet-sour taste. I’m glad that Rockstar created this flavor because it is one of the best Rockstar energy drink I tasted so far.

Rockstar Punched Energy tasted great but its energy rush was not as good as the original Rockstar. The energy rush also took longer to kicked in and peaked for about 30 minutes. The nice thing about its energy rush is that it did not have any noticeable side effects, such as minor headaches and stomaches, and the energy was noticeable for up to 2 hours. Rockstar Punched Energy is powered by B-vitamins, sugar, taurine, panax ginseng extract, caffeine and other energy blends. This energy drink has high levels of caffeine (120 mg per serving). If you are sensitive to caffeine, you may want to stay away from this energy drink.

The pros

  • Taste better than most Rockstar energy drinks.
  • No bad aftertaste.
  • No bad side effects.
  • Energy last for hours.

The cons

  • Energy takes a while to take effect.
  • A little too sweet.
  • High levels of caffeine (120 mg per serving).

I used to drink Rockstar’s on a regular basis and it didn’t keep me pumped for too long. It’s great for a quick boost, but it doesn’t beat a 6 hour power if you’re in need of long lasting energy. I’m in my senior year of college so that’s all I pretty much have in my refrigerator. The best part about them is that they don’t make you crash like a Rockstar does. And even though they’re sugar free they taste great. I recommend the berry because it’s my favorite, but the orange, lemon lime, punch, and grape are good too. I had my first one when I started working with 6 hour power, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Most people are worried about their health when it comes to energy drinks. But this one is perfectly safe. Don’t believe me? Check out http://www.6hrpower.com for your own personal reference.
