Sobe energy supplement drinks are distributed by South Beach Beverage Company, Inc., which is located in Norwalk, Connecticut. The sugar free version of Sobe Energy Adrenaline Rush is filled with 473 milliliters of light-yellow energy juice. The energy juice is carbonated for a more refreshing taste. The energy juice tasted like sweet orange-citrus and had a sweet mandarin aftertaste. The sweet-citrus flavor was more noticeable at room temperature. The thing I like about its flavor was that it tasted like real fruit juice instead of the unnatural bitter flavor found in most energy drinks.

Sobe Energy Adrenaline Rush tasted better than most energy drinks but lacked energy. The first 30 minutes was when I felt my energy increased the most but the energy rush was somewhat weak. I didn’t experience any bad side effects from drinking this energy drink, but did experience minor side effects, such as light headaches and stomachaches. Sobe Energy Adrenaline Rush is for people who want an energy drink that doesn’t kick in as hard and taste better than average. I don’t recommend drinking this energy drink on a regular basis because it contained unhealthy ingredients and is full of empty calories.

The pros

  • No major side effects
  • No bad aftertaste
  • Taste better than most energy drinks
  • Low in calories

The cons

  • Energy is weaker than most energy drinks
  • Has a sweet-mandarin aftertaste that can last over an hour
  • Energy doesn’t last long
  • Expensive for an energy drink that lacks energy
  • Full of empty calories

this was actually the very first “SOBE” energy drink that i’ve ever had, and its called “passionfruit citrus”. Like miligrams in different types of mecidine i take, “SOBE” has no effect on me…
