Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. decided to join the energy drink battle by creating Venom Energy. The twist off aluminum can is filled with a yellow energy juice that is carbonated for extra flavor. The energy juice reminded me of beer because its color looked very similar to Bud Light when poured in a glass cup. The juice had a light raspberry-syrup smell and tasted like sweet-citrus with a light-sour aftertaste. The sweet-citrus flavor of Venom Energy was very similar to the popular Red Bull energy drink. At room temperature the sweet-syrup flavor was more noticeable, avoid drinking it warm if you hate sweet drinks.
Venom Energy Black Mamba is powered by B-vitamins, caffeine, sugar, ginseng, taurine, glucuronolactone, L-carnitine and guarana. Venom did a great job mixing the energy blends together because the energy rush was intense. After drinking a few gulps of Venom Energy, I felt an intense energy-head-buzz that peaked for thirty minutes and was noticeable for over two hours. I was surprised that I didn’t experienced any major side effects from the intense energy rush. If you have a sensitive stomach, you may experience stomachaches from drinking this energy drink. Venom Black Mamba is for people who wants a sweet-citrus energy drink that can kick them wide awake for hours.
I don’t recommend drinking Venom Black Mamba or any other energy drink on a regular basis. Venom Black Mamba is high in B-vitamins but if you look closer at the ingredients, many of them are synthetic. Most synthetic vitamins don’t work as well as natural vitamins and in high levels can be toxic to the body. Venom Energy also contained artificial sweetener and other unhealthy ingredients, please drink it in moderate levels.

awesome drink. halfway through my first bottle and already love it more than red bull/monster/FT. plus, i can get it at Wal-Mart for $1.50, when the cHeapest red bull is about 3 bucks. AWESOME
After drinking half the bottle of Red Momba Energy Drink…I was visibly shaking & my stomach felt like it was on fire both inside & out. I will NEVER drink that brand “VENOM” again…& I DO NOT SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE!!
After drinking half of Venom Black Mamba, I felt good. I had alot of energy and I was more alert. The taste was excellent! It was like a fruity drink, Amarretto Sour without the alchol or a fruity cream soda. I want more! Where can I purchase this drink?

I had venom energy for the first time the other day an it was one of the best energy drinks i have ever had. It reminded me of monster but with a little kick that enhanced the drinks flavor. Simply Amazing!!
Just a momnet ago I had a rep from Dr.pepper/snapple come in and tell me all about this energy drink..VENOM. He left me with a bottle and told me try it out. This couldn’t have come at a better time..Im dragging ass today and I’m working 11hrs ..my job requires me to be outgoing and active with all people that walk thru- my front doors. I haven’t even finished the entire drink yet and I can already tell my energy has boosted, my awareness, I feel more alert and all together better! This is a drink I will consider putting in my facility!

For all you pansys out there that cant handle the power of venom go back to your munster energy. Yeah i said munster. Or your red bull. You pay for what you get venom a great taste, full boost of energy and the bottle looks cool. You dont get a graphic like that with any other energy drink out there.
I drink on average 4-5 a day which is over what they recommend but i dont care. If it doesnt kill me it will just make me stronger.

Vemon is great, I love it.
But yesterday when I drank one I started twitching non-stop and my stomach felt like it was twisted up in a knot, and my breathing rate increased. Those are pretty minor, the thing that was weird was that it didn’t effect me until a few hours later. I’m only 13, so it may just be my age, ya know, the amount of caffeine I can take and what not.
I think I’ll just stick to arizona iced tea.

First time i had the Venom energy drink was today and i must say i experienced some minor shaking but other than that the taste is great, the alertness i felt was better than any other id had and all around i think its a good drink. For those with caffiene problems and cant handle MONSTER energy drink, i wouldnt suggest this too but anyone else go for it!
Just a word of Caution: My daughter broke out in HIVES after drinking this drink in the purple bottle. She had sever itching and pain. This happened two days in a row with only a few drinks of this drink. The first day we did not know what caused the rash because we did not know if it was the drink or something else from that day. After the second time she drank it, we said “NO MORE!”, Not knowing what is in the drink that may have caused her to react this way. It was the only thing different in her diet that day.
By far, this has to be the worst energy drink I’ve ever had. One of the clowns from work brought some in from his other job and was on his high horse about it. I don’t know what he was bragging about.
Venom looks like gasoline, tastes like carbonated garbage, and smells like an alley that homeless people have been using as a urinal. Seriously, I don’t understand how this putrid excuse of a beverage is still on the market. And the people who claim it to be the best, or that those who cannot handle the 56 grams of sugar it contains are pansies, please, go back to your lives of playing video games in your mother’s basements. You are probably named Todd or Chad and think that it would go great with high-end vodka, too, don’t you?

I think the guy above me is one of those that had the upset tummy. I mean, come on…you drink Monster, but you want to be critical when it comes to this drink. If your counting your sugar intake and your calories, maybe you should stick with Crystal Light or Water….
they taste great. three flavors i know about, the red, the purple, and the orange. i guess i like it because of taste, and it gives me a rush that doesn’t die down, and i can get school work done.
Went back home to visit family in Oklahoma,and tried the Mojave & my son had the Black Mamba & we loved them both. The best energy drink I’ve ever had.
Today i had 2 black mamba energy drinks and i felt like i was having a heart attack. it was amazing… i had 2 other people buy them at my college class(im still in high school) and they were visably effected by it. I was already shaking… I have problems staying awake through the school hours and i couldnt because of the energy! I LOVE them. But dont have 3. Read the can, limit 3 per day… haha for me its more like 2… anyway its great…. everyone should try it

VENOM Black Mamba is the best energy drink I have ever had.It does not give you some little pansy-ass wings like a kotex does… it gives you energy, period.I have drank 3 Monster BFC`s in a row and have not gotten the energy I did from one VENOM, although I enjoy the original Monster as well. The Mojave Rattler low-carb from VENOM isn`t quite as good.The taste is basically the same with the exception of the aftertaste.The low carb drinks always leave a terrible aftertaste.I have exceeded My *VENOM LIMIT* several times and DID experience shaking,and nervousness , but it wasn`t alarming.I fully expected that to happen, and enjoyed every minute.

I’m not sure where you can buy it in Pittsburgh. Because Venom is a product of Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, it should be available nationwide. Check your major local gas stations, they should have it in stock. If you can’t find it in your area, you can always buy it on ebay or amazon.

The only place I know where you can buy it in cases is at alibaba.com. I haven’t shop from there so I don’t know how reliable it is.

Today i had venom energy and me and my buddy who i work with noticed a surge of energy….we were running rampid like rapters in a cage…then 4 hours later my buddy started hallucinating like he was in a jungle..i then had a caniption fit and blacked out…venom is awesome!
I love this brand. But I noticed one thing, other people that drink it that have problems with it, try to down it all very quickly. This seems to be a drink that you slowly sip on. Thats how I drink it and one can will last me HOURS of good energy. I use it for work and have never had a problem. Keeps me goin.
If you blackout after having an energy drink then you are probably alergic to or very reactive to guarana. To be honest blacking out is never good for you and can ultimately shorten your life by around 2 months per black out, of course this number will increase overtime until eventually you don’t wake up, so good luck with that. Anyway, I’ve tried it and it is by far the best energy drink out there and I had no adverse side effects. Great drink.
I had my second venom today, and I will absolutely buy a third. I am in love with this drink, I haven’t experienced any of these “side effects” everyone is talking about, one of my opinions is that these are from monster fanatics trying to scare people out of this drink, I could be wrong, but take it from me; i haven’t had any of these and the people I know who have had venom, had no idea what i was talking about when i mentioned these. Venom is the best out there and try it yourself before believing what some person hiding behind a keyboard has to say about it.

This is by far the best energy drink I have ever had. Im not a huge coffee drinker and can go on a normal basis without the need of caffine or ne kind of high but some times ya just need a kick in the but for those days that everybody gets but dreads. People complain about the side effects and dualy noted that if you dont like it dont drink it or if it effects you maybe you shouldnt down it in two settings and drink it casually. I get one and most of the time just put the rest in the fridge for later when I want a lil boost i pour it over some ice in a rocks glass and its perfect. just enough of a boost and the taste is amazing. Fruity yet sour and just the right kick i like. To those who it really effected and arent just stretching the truth try learning your body and personal intake before you critize things that are natually just fine. This drink is beyond yummy and does exactly what it is supposed to GIVE YOU A KICK IN THE @$$ kuz isnt that the reason we all bought it in the first place. All out best energy drink ive had, got to my first one the other day had the Black Mamba which was very satisfying, but the Death Adder + fruit punch was one of the best tastes i have expirenced, it was a blast of flavors in my mouth, reminding me off monster but with better tatse!!!
I had my first taste of Venom about 2 days ago, and I loooove it! I’ve always been loyal to Monster, but I think I actually like Venom better! I definitely recommend it! I haven’t had any problems like other people have mentioned. Also like someone above me said, slowly sipping on it works best it seems..
Man this stuff is sweet but it’s good. It has a really quick hard hitting energy buzz to it. The bottle alone is worth the price its really cool looking! My only gripe is when I read about the b synthetic vitamins…that crap can be dangerous to the body people so beware. Dont drink to much of it is what Im trying to say.
me and my sister drank the red and orange one. we both started seeing things with in a shot time. we became very paranoid and couldnts sleep. we drank these at 10pm in order to stay up. the energy wore off quick but the effects kept us up till 6am. i wouldnt recomend this one. def sticking to red bull

i always get the side effects from drinking energy drinks but it dont matter to me. just like drinking alcohol makes u throw up energy drinks make u sick. im addicted to energy drinks but the black mamba is my new fav. this stuff rocks
being a high school student i pull alot of all nighters. venom keeps me awake all night and throught the next day. so when its time to go to sleep i pass out. it sadly makes me have heart burn and will mess up you stomach if you dont eat anything before you have it. enjoy or dislike it gets the job done.
Venom is my absolute all-time favorite, challenged only by Nitrous Monster. It’s got a great flavor, unlike the bland flavor some other energy drinks have, and it keeps me going just as well as a Monster. It also has a screw-on lid so if I want to drink half and save the rest for later, no problem! I always found most other energy drinks to be sub-par in comparison to Venom.
