Nos is distributed by High Performance Beverage Co., a company located in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States. Nos is an energy drink that is inspired by the power of nitrous. This is why their bottle container looks similar to the nitrous bottles you see in race cars. I am not sure if it is a good idea to use nitrous-like bottle as containers for energy drinks. Most people are used to the 8.3 fl. oz. thin-tall-can made popular by Red Bull. The good thing about Nos’s container is that it is unique and stands out from their competitors. The bad thing is that the bottle makes this energy drink look unappetizing because it does not look like something that is safe to drink.
Nos Grape actually tasted better than it looks, the 650 milliliter bottle is filled with a grape-purple carbonated energy juice that tasted similar to grape. The sweet juice reminded me of grape candy and had a strong grape smell. I do not recommend smelling this energy drink because it may make you feel lightheaded. The juice has no bad aftertaste and is sweeter at room temperature.
The energy from Nos Grape is powered by taurine, L-carnitine, caffeine, inositol, panax ginseng, B-vitamins, caffeine and sugar. This energy drink gave me a good energy-head-rush that lasted for about 30 minute. After that the energy rush was not as intense but lasted for over 2 hours. I did not experienced any bad side effects from this energy drink. If you have a sensitive stomach or are sensitive to caffeine, you may experience minor stomachaches or light headaches. To reduce the side effects do not drink this energy drink on an empty stomach. Nos Grape has 125 milligrams of caffeine per serving, if you are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine you should stay away from this energy drink.
