Verve is an energy drink created by Vemma Nutrition Company which is based in Arizona, United States. The 245 milliliter slim can has a very unique design. Below the Verve logo are five words that read “the insanely healthy energy drink.” This tagline caught my attention because there are many energy drinks out there that claimed they are healthy but they usually don’t contained enough energy to be in the energy drink category. Lets see if the “insanely healthy energy drink” can compete with some of the best energy drinks out there.
When I took my first sip of this energy drink my taste buds were confused. I couldn’t related the flavor to anything that I knew, maybe because the drink was too cold. After about five sips I started to taste a citrus-tangerine flavor followed by a strange fruit flavor that was hard to describe. The strange fruit flavor tasted somewhat like mangosteen, or maybe mango and reminded me of tropical fruit drinks. The brownish-orange energy juice contained very tiny pulps which added a unique texture to the juice. The energy juice was also carbonated and purified by reverse osmosis for extra freshness. After drinking this energy drink halfway, I noticed a bitter tea aftertaste which made the juice a little unpleasant for me to drank. Other then that, the energy juice was easy to drink and went down smooth. The energy rush from Verve surprised me the most because it took effect within minutes and gave me an energy-head-buzz that kept me alert for over 2 hours. Another thing that surprised me was that there were no major side effects. Although, I did experience light headaches, and increase of breathing and heart rates. If you drink Verve on a full stomach, the energy effects may be less intense.
Well, looks like the hype about this energy drink is almost real. Its energy and flavor are competitive but its health benefit is not very good. Verve contained more synthetic vitamins than most energy drinks. In fact, most of its vitamins are synthetic. Many health experts agreed that synthetic vitamins are not the best vitamins for health and are toxic. Please drink this energy drink with care. This energy drink also contained a good amount of vitamin D and E, which can be toxic to the body when consuming too much of these fat-soluble vitamins. To avoid this, limit yourself to a few Verve energy drink per week, less than that is even better. For best taste, drink this energy drink cold, otherwise the light-bitter tea aftertaste is more noticeable.

I just wanted to correct the fact about not being able to buy through retail outlets… it’s up to the distributors to organise that, and there are already many clubs and other outlets selling Verve.
P.S. The new (soon to be released) Verve Energy Shots are specifically packaged for retail outlets, easy self standing containers to place on the counter at convenience stores, truck stops, etc…
Yeah its really a great energy drink. Most of the energy drink ain’t taste good but this isn’t the problem with verve thanks for sharing this valuable article.
