24:7 decided to join the coffee energy drink battle with their new Espresso Coffee Plus Energy. Like many of their energy drinks, the 24:7 logo is zipping by in the background. The brown 16 fl. oz. can also has coffee beans as the background texture. When you crack the can open, you may notice a faint coffee and cream smell. Take your first sip and you will notice how much it taste like coffee with cream. The mocha colored energy juice is somewhat plain, it taste similar to a brewed coffee with too much water. The flavor doesn’t taste strong like Java Monster Loca Moca.

One of the thing that bothers me about the flavor of 24:7 Espresso is the aftertaste. After drinking 24:7 Espresso, it left a coffee-bitter-dry flavor in my mouth for over an hour. The energy from this coffee energy drink didn’t help its rating either. The energy rush from 24:7 Espresso woke me up slightly and was noticeable for barely an hour. Most coffee energy drinks that I reviewed usually gave me intense energy rush for hours. The good thing about its energy rush is that there is no noticeable side effects, such as shakes, headaches and stomachaches.
