Vemma Mangosteen Plus is a liquid dietary supplement created by Vemma Nutrition Company which is based in Arizona, United States. The liquid supplement drink is available in 3 packages. The first package cost $60 (shipping cost not included) and included a 30 day supply of 2 premixed Vemma Mangosteen Plus bottles (32 fl. oz). The second package is a fridge pack which contained 30 premixed Vemma Mangosteen Plus bottles (2 fl. oz.). Price for the second package is $70 (shipping not included). The third package is the same as the first but had 4 bottles instead of 2. The price for this package is $120 (shipping not included). The first and third package also included a 2 fl. oz. shot glass. Because the energy juice is very concentrated, Vemma recommends taking only two shots per day.

The good thing about liquid supplement is that its nutrients is usually absorbed better by the body; this will vary depending if the vitamin is natural or synthetic. Vemma Mangosteen Plus had a unique flavor, the most noticeable flavor was mangosteen. When taking your first sip, you may noticed a pinch of sweet and sourness after the main flavor. The energy juice also had a light-bitter aftertaste. The texture of the energy juice was a little thicker than orange juice and was filled with very tiny pulps. The color of the energy juice looked somewhat unappetizing. It looked like someone had a bad case of diarrhea. Another feature that may bother people is the smell which had a unnatural mangosteen scent to it. This is probably from the added minerals and preservatives. According to Vemma, there are no preservatives. This is actually not true, read the supplement facts and you will see that it has preservatives, such as ascorbic acid. Any supplement drink that has a shelf life of over a year is bound to have some kind of preservatives.

Vemma claimed that it has one of the most powerful liquid antioxidant drinks in the world. This may be true if you only look at the front of its liquid supplement bottles. The front of Vemma Mangosteen Plus has many healthy ingredients, such as whole fruit mangosteen, organic glyconutrient-rich aloe vera, organic green tea and preservative free. Turn the bottle around and you will see that it is not as healthy as it looks. Many of its vitamins are synthetic, most synthetic vitamins are not as effective as natural vitamins. Water-soluble vitamins found in liquid supplements, such as B-vitamins, are usually synthetic. The reason for this is because they don’t have a long shelf life when mixed with water.
