Vemma Mangosteen Plus is a liquid dietary supplement created by Vemma Nutrition Company which is based in Arizona, United States. The liquid supplement drink is available in 3 packages. The first package cost $60 (shipping cost not included) and included a 30 day supply of 2 premixed Vemma Mangosteen Plus bottles (32 fl. oz). The second package is a fridge pack which contains 30 premixed Vemma Mangosteen Plus bottles (2 fl. oz.). Price for the second package is $70 (shipping not included). The third package is the same as the first but has 4 bottles instead of 2. The price for this package is $120 (shipping not included). The first and third package also included a 2 fl. oz. shot glass.
The good thing about liquid supplement is that its nutrients is usually absorb better by the body. This will vary depending if the vitamin is natural or synthetic. Vemma Mangosteen Plus has a unique mangosteen flavor. When taking your first sip, you may notice a pinch of sweet and sourness after its main flavor. Its energy juice also has a light-bitter aftertaste. The texture of its energy juice is a little thicker than orange juice and is filled with very tiny pulps. Its energy juice looks somewhat unappetizing because it looks like dirty toilet water.
Vemma claims that it has one of the most powerful liquid antioxidant drinks in the world. This may be true if you only look at the front of its liquid supplement bottles. The front of Vemma Mangosteen Plus has many healthy ingredients, such as whole fruit mangosteen, organic glyconutrient-rich aloe vera, organic green tea and preservative free. Turn the bottle around and you may realize that it is not as healthy as it looks. This is because many of its vitamins are synthetic. Most synthetic vitamins are not as effective as natural vitamins and some may even be harmful. Water-soluble vitamins found in liquid supplements, such as B-vitamins, are usually synthetic. The reason for this is because they don’t have a long shelf life when mixed with water. Because Vemma Mangosteen Plus is full of synthetic chemicals, I urge people to drink it in moderate.
The pros:
- No bad side effects
- No crash
- Low in calories
- Has a unique flavor that is sweet and taste like mangosteen
The cons:
- Light-bitter aftertaste, more noticeable when warm
- Strange synthetic-mangosteen smell
- Doesn’t look very appetizing.
- Some of its vitamins are synthetic
- Expensive for its value
