So how will WE write it? How shall it read when we look back on December 21, 2012? We certainly have the elements in place to destroy ourselves. The planet has experienced cataclysmic events in its history – polar shifts, ice ages, etc. No one really knows. What the Mayan’s meant with their End-Count calendar will always be up for speculation. It fires the imagination, for sure. SOooo let’s write it like we want it. Although it is a fact that we are living in the end of times not even Jesus knows the exact time of when all these things will happen. *(Read the bible to establish the facts). Therefor, although major earth quakes as natural disasters are foretold, NO ONE EXCEPT GOD HIMSELF knows when this will all happen! To set dates to events is hogwash and very similar like the David Koresh sect believe system. So wake up and STUDY the bible to get understanding and dont jump to conclusions! It could take 5, 10, 20, or a 100 years or more and WE SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW NOR CAN WE SPECULATE. LIVE YOUR LIFE AS EACH DAY IS THE LAST!

I’m not a big believer either because the future is not certain but infinite and we have the power to change it. Unfortunately, this power of change can backfire on us. We human beings are too divided. It wouldn’t surprise me if we end up destroying ourselves with weapons of mass destruction.

I am not a great lover of the ‘end of the world’ doomsayers – Neither is Ian Lumsgold of Mayan Calendar fame. He sees it as a crisis and a major transition.
Most of those working with these events psychics, astrologers, Mayan Calendar people and those who use oracles are in agreement on this. How we deal with this time as individuals and as communities is very important as we go through this time.
The I Ching does not predict the end of the world.
Reasons:
1 The Maths Terrance McKenna used to show it did have long since been checked and declared deeply flawed by real mathematicians. 2 The I Ching (King Wen Sequence) is modelled on an idealised human life. So of course it comes to an end at the end of the sequence! (Actually it comes to an end before the end of the sequence – the last part of the sequence is about what happens after we die).
The Chinese had complex calendrical systems tied and Astronomy, Astrology. I Ching was never part of these systems – they simply used it as an oracle and as a source of life wisdom.
