I have been searching for a natural face lotion for my dry skin problem for years and I finally found a product that met my expectations. If you have dry skin problems, this lotion may be the solution you have been searching for. It does a great job keeping my skin moisturized. The features I like about this face and body lotion is that it soothes my skin, boost my skins elasticity, eliminate dryness and makes my skin smooth. Unlike many other lotions, Best Bath Store’s Shea Butter can last all day.
The ingredients found in the lotion are: purified water, aloe vera, shea butter, grapeseed oil, vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, emulsifying wax, chamomile extract, vitamin E and potassium sorbate. The only ingredient that raised my eyebrows was potassium sorbate. This type of mineral is actually synthetic and not natural. Although, when potassium sorbate comes in contact with water, it breaks into sorbic acid which is a natural organic compound. Sorbic acid may cause allergies, immunotoxicity, and eyes irritation in high levels. Cosmeticdatabase.com found another ingredient called Phenoxyethanol, this preservative may also cause allergies, immunotoxicity and eye irritation in high levels.
Overall, Best Bath Store’s Shea Butter performed as claimed and even better. It is one of the best face and body lotions I had ever used for my dry skin problem. The lotion is great for keeping skin healthy because it is enriched with shea butter, vitamins A, E and F, plus other natural vitamins and minerals.
