Relieve Stomach Problems With Digestive Enzymes



Stomach problem can cause cramps, heartburn, pain, bleeding, ulcers, vomiting and may even lead to cancer. There are many sources that can cause stomach problem and many ways to treat it. Two common causes of stomach problems are bad diet and low stomach acid. Eating food that contains little nutrients and enzymes don’t do much to help your stomach digest food. Instead, they slow down digestion which can lead to gas, bloating and heartburn. Having low stomach acid can also slow down digestion and lead to gas, bloating and heartburn. One way to fix these problems is to eat food containing a good amount of digestive enzymes. Enzymes are necessary for your survival because it help accelerate certain chemical reaction and is involve in removal of toxins, immune function, coagulation, tissue repair and digestion. Eating food low in digestive enzymes will make it harder for your body to break it down to usable nutrients. Food low in digestive enzymes also takes more energy to digest. Because it is hard for the body to digest it, a good amount of the food’s nutrients may not get absorb properly. The best sources of digestive enzymes are from fruits and vegetables.

Other natural ways to relieve stomach problems:

  1. Natural remedies: Lemon balm, peppermint, fennel, chamomile and sage are popular natural remedies for relieving stomach problems.
  2. Tea and lemon: Tea helps soothe the stomach and provides the body antioxidants to fight diseases. Peppermint, ginger and fennel tea are some of the best teas for stomach problems. Lemon is known for being acidic on the tongue but is great for relieving stomach problems because it increases the levels of digestive enzymes in your stomach. Most of the time, digestive problems is caused by a lack of stomach acid. For best results, add freshly squeezed lemon juice in a cup of warm-hot water.
  3. Smaller meals: Large meal are hard to digest which can increase the chance of heartburn. Eat 4 to 5 smaller meals per day instead of 3 big meals will reduce stomach problems.
  4. High fiber food: When fiber is in the body it becomes bulk-like, this feature of fiber helps pushes waste through the body. Fiber also binds to cholesterol which prevents the body from absorbing it. Fiber protects the large intestine from toxins and prevents constipation.
