Kiwi Salad Recipe
Kiwi is an excellent source of vitamin C and contains good levels of dietary fiber, potassium, copper, magnesium and vitamin E. The kiwi salad recipe below is designed to provide you with these important nutrients, plus other cancer fighting nutrients, such as phytochemicals and antioxidants. The kiwi recipe below is also great for promoting heart health because it contains potassium, magnesium and vitamin C.
Kiwi Salad Recipe:
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 ounces watercress sprigs
- 2 strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- Salt and black pepper
- 2 teaspoons olive oil (optional)
Arrange the fruits and vegetables in a plate. Add the vinegar, salt and black pepper on top of the fruits and vegetables. Last, add the olive oil if desired. For best result use organic fruits and vegetables.
