Cranberry Puree Recipe


Cranberry is a fruit that has many health benefits. It has a long history for preventing and treating urinary tract infections (UTIs) because of its antiviral, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Cranberry is also known for preventing kidney stones and cancer, and lowering cholesterol. The cranberry recipe below is created for the purpose of boosting your energy and health.

Cranberry Puree Recipe:

  • 1 cup dried cranberries (organic preferred)
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 4 teaspoons freshly squeezed orange juice (organic preferred)
  • Salt and pepper

Put the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pass the puree through a fine mesh sieve, then season to taste with salt and pepper. For the left overs, store it in a glass container and put it in the refrigerator. Homemade puree should be eaten within a few days. You can either eat the cranberry puree by itself or use it as an additive to add flavor to salads and entrees.
