Tomato Soup Recipe


Tomato is excellent for aiding the body to fight disease because it contains an incredible amount of disease fighting chemicals. Tomato is an excellent source of vitamin C which is great for protecting cell and DNA from free radical damage. The soup recipe below is designed to boost your body’s antioxidant levels so you can stay young longer and be healthier.

Tomato soup recipe:

  • 3 medium size red tomatoes, peeled
  • 1/2 cup tomato, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 jalapeno chile, chopped
  • 10 olives, pitted and quartered
  • 2 teaspoons wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Put the 3 medium size tomatoes, chile, cucumber and vinegar in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the tomato soup in a bowl, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish the tomato soup with olives and diced tomato, then add the olive oil. For maximum health benefits use organic vegetables.
