The Seven Chakras: Crown Chakra

The crown chakra (seventh chakra), also known as sahasrara, is the last chakra of the seven main chakras of the body. It is violet in color and is shaped like two cones located around the head. The two cones are connected at their tip. One cone extends toward the top of the head while the other extends toward the neck. The area where they are connected is located at the center of the head. The energies that make up the cones spin opposite of each other. The crown chakra is the gateway between the physical self and universal self. It is the chakra that connects us to the spiritual world and beyond. The crown chakra’s energy vibrates at a frequency that is higher than all the other chakras. Its frequency is so high that it can connect us to spiritual realms beyond our wildest imagination. The crown chakra is associated with divine wisdom, enlightenment, bliss and unity.

The crown chakra has a strong connection to the pituitary and pineal gland which are located near the center of the brain. Scientist believed that the pineal gland is responsible for making us dream and connecting us to other dimensions. The pineal gland manufactures dimethyltryptamine (DMT) which is a natural psychedelic chemical believed to have mystical properties. The pineal gland acts like a hypergate that connect us to other dimensions, such as the dream plane and spiritual plane. Most people don’t realize that when they are dreaming, they are actually activating their psychic abilities.

People who have a balanced crown chakra are very wise and very connected to consciousness. They are incredible spiritual teachers who understand the universal way of life. They are also great healers and have incredible psychic abilities. People with an overactive crown chakra may have a lot of strange encounters with other realms. They may feel disconnected from the physical world and have a hard time connecting with people. Many of these people are put on psychiatric medication which doesn’t really help them. Instead of putting them on medication, they should be put on a training program to help them balance their crown chakra.

How to clear and balance your crown chakra:

• Light visualization: Imagine a transparent violet ball floating above your head. Visualize that this is your crown chakra. Mentally look or sense this violet ball of energy shining brightly toward the heaven. Visualize a pure white light illuminating from the inside of your crown chakra. Visualize this white light cleansing its energy until it is illuminating beautiful violet colors. Cleansing your chakra of dark energy may take a few weeks or months so please be patient.
