Health Care RallyToday I did something that I really do not like to do. I actually turned on the TV to watch the news about the health care bill. What I saw on the news about the health care bill concerned me because the bill sounded similar to the stimulus package plan. Many Americans are starting to realize that the stimulus package plan is not working like it was promised. I’m saddened to say this but the stimulus bill was not designed to help us. Instead it was designed to help the people of wall street. This is why a lot of the money went toward bailing out corporations instead of helping the public. The health care bill has similar intentions, it may not be designed to help the public either.

Once the health care bill is ready, they may try to pass it as fast as possible so we will not have the time to read it thoroughly. As Americans, we must realize that there is no quick way to solve the health care crisis. Health care is more of a personal issue than a political issue. If we stop letting the media, corporations and politicians corrupt our minds, and start taking care of our health, we will not have to worry about relying on the government for health care. The main reason why our health care is so messed up is because we keep on supporting a system that is designed to keep us sick. The health care industry, such as the drug industry, do not like to cure people because there is no money in curing people. As Americans, we need to see through the illusions of these industries. Otherwise they will make us their slaves and steal our money behind our backs, while at the same time destroy our health.

The health care bill may be a disaster because it will put the United States in a debt so deep that it may not be able to get out. In fact, the United States is already in a debt that it cannot get out. In order to understand how the health care bill works, you need to understand how the economy works. The health care bill is most likely going to cost near a trillion dollars or more. Because of the recession (probably depression now), our government will have to borrow more money. The Federal Reserve (Fed), a private bank, is usually where our government borrows money from. This irritates me because our government can print its own money without interest, but it would rather borrow money from the Fed with interest. No wonder our economy is about to collapse. When our government borrows more money, it also increases the risk of inflation which is basically a “hidden tax” on the public.

As I watched the news, I saw something that made me smile a little. All over the United States people are having town hall meetings about health care. Finally, people are starting to wake up and take control of their health. As Americans, we need to be more responsible citizens because we are losing our freedom that the founding fathers fought so hard for. We need to come together and make sure this health care bill is designed to help us. Otherwise we may suffer a fate that will destroy our standard of living and this beautiful country.

Well I’m glad to see a lot of people are thinking like me. This health care plan package isn’t going to bring anything good out of us. Not only is Obama not following his words saying the original stimulus plans would help us, the people, he’s also trying to pass a ridiculous plan for health care that won’t help us out anyways. Even if health care was universally free, not technically of course, that would mean our country is heading more towards a socialist aspect. Who want’s that? I sure don’t.

Yes, I agree with some of the things you said about the health care bill. From what I heard, this bill is going to increase the numbers of American without health care. Although, trusting the media is something that I’m cautious about. If we can come together and influence politicians to take our ideas seriously, this health care bill may benefit us in the long-run.
