Exercise is one of the best physical activities that you can do to increase your health but too much exercise can cause negative effects on your body. According to a research done in Toronto, people who did aerobic exercise five days per week for more than 40 minutes, had lowered antibody production than those who did aerobic exercise three days per week. The human body, like many system of the Universe, is all about balance. By exercising too much, you can disrupt the chemical balance in your body. This can cause certain health problems and stress on your immune system.
Have you ever wondered why bodybuilders and marathon runners look older than their real age? People who dedicated their whole lives to these kind of sports exercise more than is needed. Too much exercise can increase production of cortisol and pro-inflammatory chemicals. These chemicals can cause tissue damage and promote premature aging. Over exercising also suppresses the immune system which can make people susceptible to disease causing microorganisms.
If you do exercise more than what is needed, you should pay close attention to your diet. Organic plant-based food is one of the best diets to reduce the negative effects of over exercising. Organic plant-based food is full of nutrients and antioxidants to help heal your body and reduce free-radical damage. Free-radical damages your body by disrupting the atomic structure of your cells and DNA. It has been linked to most, if not all, disease in the body. If you are worried about the negative effects of over exercising, do light exercises such as walking, jogging, yoga, tai chi and aerobic exercise.
