To understand what spirituality is we need to first understand who we truly are. In general, our Western society teaches us that we are physical beings living in a physical world. In reality, we are spiritual beings living in physical bodies. If we were only physical beings, we would not be able to observe ourselves and have the imagination that we have because we would behave like robots. To understand this concept, we need to know some basic information about the human brain.

Below is an excerpt from my book Staradigm about the human brain.

Through many years of research, scientists have found that the human brain cannot tell the difference between what it sees and what it remembers. This fact tells us that the human brain works like a computer and does not have the ability to think. It can only compute and translate electrical signals into usable information similar to a computer chip, giving it the illusion that it can think. Another important fact that backs up this claim is the fact that most jellyfish has no brain. If thinking truly occurs in the brain, then jellyfishes would not be able to survive because they do not have a brain to tell them what to do.

The brain and its relationship with the soul

The human brain operates similar to a computer chip, but it does so at such a high level that it gives the illusion that it can think. This illusion often tricks scientists into thinking that the human brain is the source of consciousness. In reality, consciousness exists in every cell of the body. To learn more about how the human brain and reality work, read this informative article. Even though our brains work like a computer, we know we do not think like one because we have the abilities to imagine and observe ourselves. This brings up the question, who or what is the observer?

Most, if not all, of us consciously or subconsciously know that there is some kind of divine source of energy that gives us life. This divine source of energy, also known as the soul, is known in every religion around the world. The soul is the answer to the question above. It is a conscious energy that has pure potentiality. The soul is the one experiencing the emotions and is the observer of what we are experiencing through our five senses.

The evidence of life after death

Most of us who live in the Western world are conditioned to believe that there is no life after death. In other words, the life we are living right now is the only life we have. After we die, depending on our beliefs and actions, we either go to Heaven or Hell for eternity. If you are an open-minded person who is not afraid to explore the unknown, you will notice that there are many things in the world challenging these beliefs. One of them is hypnosis.

During hypnosis, people can access their past life memories, which are stored in their subconscious mind. While under hypnosis, people can remember exactly where they lived or were buried in their past lives. Some of their past lives can go back as far as a thousand years or more. This is not very scientific from a mainstream point of view, but it is good enough evidence that there is some truth to reincarnation. Hypnosis is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many other things that can help us understand more about life after death.

The essence of spirituality

If you can accept that you are a spiritual being living in a physical body, then it would be easier for you to understand the knowledge I’m about to share with you. To me, true spirituality is not all about religion. I see it as the path of understanding who you are from within, and then expresses those findings outwardly with love.

Spirituality is not specifically about shaving your head and becoming a monk, staying single, doing no wrong, going to churches, obeying a priest or meditating your whole life away. Spirituality is about unity, truth, personal responsibility, forgiveness, freewill, love and peace. Most importantly, spirituality is about creating your own realities, experiencing those realities into wisdom by living within the laws of the Universe so you can evolve spiritually and return back to Creation (God) as an enlightened being.

For you to spiritually evolve, you need to learn lessons through experiencing the negative and positive polarity of experiences while living in the physical world. These negative and positive experiences are like the negative and positive charge of a battery. If one charge is not working properly, the power of the battery will be reduced or will not work. This analogy is similar to how your soul evolves. If all you experience are positive experiences, you will have a really hard time evolving and learning lessons. Not all dimensions have polarity, but in our dimension, there is polarity. This is why we experience “good or bad” things.

The true self and the false self

Your spiritual self is your true self, not your body. Your body is a vehicle for your soul/spirit to live in, so it can feel the negative and positive polarity of experiences in the physical world. These negative and positive experiences are needed to help your soul evolve. Our society does not teach us enough about our true self; therefore, most of us pay too much attention to our bodies and not enough to our souls. This causes a false identity of who we are, allowing our imbalanced egos to control many of our decisions.

When we let our egos control our decisions, our lives become chaotic and delusional, because we do not know what we want and our identities are always changing. We always feel like something is wrong, but wherever we look we cannot find the right answer. Whenever we accomplish something, we always want more because we cannot seem to fill that void within us. Eventually, our overactive egos will overpower us and prevent us from achieving our tasks in the physical world.

Below is an excerpt from my book Staradigm that goes into greater detail about certain aspects of spirituality.

The Universe that we live in has pure potentiality; thus, it has infinite possibility and creativity. This also means that knowledge is infinite, anything is possible and there is always the unknown. These are some of the qualities of the Universe that make it so beautiful and mystical. To not know everything is a wonderful thing. By knowing everything, there is little reason for us to live. True spirituality gives us the flexibility to explore all these possibilities because it respects free will. Free will is one of the most important laws of the Universe. Most, if not all, religions abuse free will, which prevents us from experiencing the infinite possibilities of the Universe. This abuse of free will also slows the growth of our souls and prevents us from understanding the truth.

What is the truth? The truth is that we are eternal spiritual beings with infinite potential. We are literally gods in training. The fact that we have love, thought, imagination and consciousness proves that we are gods in training. Love is a harmonic conscious energy of attraction that is needed to bring balance and harmony. Thought is a conscious energy that has the potential of thinking within and upon itself. It is needed to focus everything into existence. Imagination is the creative force of the mind that allows us to create abstract things that have not yet manifested. It is the entry point to the mind of Creation. Consciousness is an intelligent energy field of infinite possibility and creativity. It is the field that governs everything in the Universe. All these energy forces have one thing in common; the power to create! When we understand how these creative energy forces work, it becomes clear that we are not physical beings but are spiritual beings with god-like features. People who believe they are weak and powerless physical beings have been deceived by their authorities. They do not understand who they are, how the Universe works and their close relationship with Creation.

To understand spirituality at a deeper level, you will need to understand who you truly are, why you are here, and your close relationship to the Universe and Creation (God). My book Staradigm: A Blueprint for Spiritual Growth, Happiness, Success and Well-Being will explain in great details about these things. It is my personal belief from years of study that once a person dies that the soul is not made of physical energy. It is no longer tied to this universe and dimension. It proceeds to the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm is not constricted by time or space. So a soul can be reincarnated anywhere in the physical Universe the next day as it comes from a spiritual dimension not from some other location within this physical dimension.

As an alternative to Quantum Theory there is a new theory that describes and explains the mysteries of physical reality. While not disrespecting the value of
Quantum Mechanics as a tool to explain the role of quanta in our universe. This theory states that there is also a classical explanation for the paradoxes such as EPR and the Wave-Particle Duality. The Theory is called the Theory of Super Relativity and is located at: www superrelativity org This theory is a philosophical attempt to reconnect the physical universe to realism
and deterministic concepts. It explains the mysterious.

Thanks for the great info. I checked out the website you mentioned above and was intrigued. I did not read through all the articles but the articles that I read was very interesting. Although, I did see some flaws about super relativity. The “Origin of Gravity” article did not say anything about torsion fields. According to Russian scientists, torsion fields are essential for the existence of gravity. I read the article kind of fast so if it did mentioned something about torsion fields, then that is my mistake.

If the science community can come together and help each other, then they will have a greater chance of solving many of the mysteries about the Universe. Unfortunately, many of them like to stay in their own group and compete with each other instead of working with each other. Quantum mechanics, consciousness science, conventional science and super relativity all have their pros and cons. If they can come together as one, they will be able to solve many mysteries of the Universe.

      Please don’t hallucinate.

      What happens when we die?

Starkly, when the brain ceases to function, that ‘being’ ceases to ‘be’. The motivation driving that unique combination of elements is no more.

A ‘Spiritual Future’ ????? – – – Pure self-indulgent fantasy! The chemo-electrical activity of the brain – the mind – is naturally prone to generate any illusive mirage. If that imagery is not backed up by factual proof, it remains a fantasy. To give any credence to life after death, one must be round the bend, if not well up the straight!

Natural cognition – common sense – affirms Life’s future as solely dependent on reproduction. Offspring are our future!

Probing the Atom or ‘Heavenly Space’ – We do indeed come face to face
With Infinities galore! – & possibly a good deal more!

I lost interest in this site once you set yourself up as a spiritual advisor. Stick to the science of health. That you may know a little about but your spiritual understanding is not very deep. To say their is no right and wrong and that theiris no such thing as sin is absolutely ridiculous. You make a grand statement based on a small nugget of scientific enlightenment. Sure their are religions that use sin as a means to manipulate through a guilt complex, that is the problem with religion. Religion is not God. Religions are usually mans twisted idea of God. GOD goes beyond religion. The fact that Jesus died for our sins shows how severe sin is. And if you don’t believe in Jesus than you have bigger issues and problems of delusion than you know. Jesus is not fairy tale. Secular historians agree a Jesus walked the earth so either you believe in what he said or you don’t but you can’ say he was just a teacher. He claimed to be God in the flesh. God opposses the proud and gives grace to the humble. So until you truley humble yourself you will not receive this revelation of who he is.

    • PL Chang says:

You said that my spiritual understanding is not very deep, but in truth, my spiritual understanding is hard for you to grasp because it is outside the realm of conventional thinking.

According to your comment, you are confident that the story about Jesus was “all true.” If you open your eyes more and start studying history beyond biblical time, you will realize that a large portion of the story about Jesus was copied from the Sumerians and Egyptians. The biblical story of Jesus is a story about worshiping the “sun” of God not “son” of God. Still hard to believe? Then watch the videos below. But be warned, only watch the videos if you are mentally stable.

Note: I’m not trying to say Jesus did not exist. What I’m trying to say is that a large portion of the story about Jesus was distorted. I do have a lot of respect for Jesus. He was a very brave being who came to Earth to show people a different way of life.

You also mentioned that the Creator (what you called God) gives grace to the humble. This is partially correct. The Creator gives grace to the humble and non-humble. The Creator does not judge, if It does judge than It would not be pure. It loves all its creation equally, no matter if its creation is on the negative or positive path.

The purpose of this article is to show you a different side of reality. The article is not meant to tell you how to live your life. If this article offended you in anyway, then you have issues which only you can resolve.

Your overactive ego is preventing you from questioning your beliefs. The moment you stop questioning anything, is the moment you become a slave to be abused.

Below are two videos that do a great job showing evidence that the world does not work the way you have been conditioned to believe. I do not agree with everything in the videos but they do a great job showing how religion is not always full of truth.

The video below is highly recommended for people who are truth seekers. Please watch with an open-mind and use your feelings to help you discern the information.

Great reply. Hopefully it can help open some of the people’s minds and to think outside the box.

Personally, i think its foolish to think that modern society can answer such complex questions and then just deny anything that it can not explain. After all, as human species, we haven’t been around that long compared to the universe.

    • PL Chang says:

Yes, I agree with you. This is why it is important to be open-minded so we don’t shut ourselves from other view points. Our understanding of the Universe is like to the intelligence of a child. In other words, we still got a lot of learning and growing up to do. For this reason, we should never stop questioning our reality.

  4. A says:

Oh btw, your second video link is broken.

  5. Rev Della says:

I agree with many things that you said in your article. I believe that spirituality is everything and every where since Spirit is all that exists in its different forms and manifestations.

Although many spiritually oriented people believe that we need to learn and grow through positive and negative experiences, I hold a different view. I believe that we are meant to learn and grow through joy. However, since all of us hold negative and limiting beliefs on some level, we experience negative situations as a result. So the negative situation is an indication as to where we are believing something that is not based in Truth. Then we have an opportunity to change our beliefs — and as a result — our experiences will change.

We can grow through joy or we can grow through pain. We must grow, and if we are unwilling to do this, then we will experience pain at greater and greater levels until we are willing to move forward.

    • PL Chang says:

Yes, you are right in certain ways. My understanding is that if all you experience is joy at the human level of experience, you will not spiritually grow as fast. When you experience pain, you will appreciate joy a lot more, giving you motivation. At the higher level of experience, beyond time and space, there is no polarity. Polarity is necessary in our time matrix because without it we would have a very hard time evolving due to our undeveloped state of consciousness.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  6. Dana says:

I am a spiritual being in a physical body. But there is no life after death. I experienced an NDE in 2010 and I saw death; it is oblivion, nothingness. I’m only here today because in my last moments I decided I wanted to live and not curse my children by dying in front of them and I kickstarted a deep seated survival instinct in my brain and despite being so anemic and emaciated from an ulcer that I had no blood pressure, I couldn’t move or speak or even feel my body, I was able to come back from the experience and got healthy without doctors or medicine. I exerted my will to live over my body and got healthy, and believe anyone can do this if they would simply stop thinking there is life after death. There isn’t. “Past life” memories prove nothing. The whole world worships death as a doorway to a better place and it’s a lie.

    • PL Chang says:

Thank you for sharing your near death experience (NDE).

You said that there is no life after death but is not NDE a form of life after death experience?

My understanding is that most people who have gone through an NDE have positive experiences on the other side.

I do not know if you have talked to other people who have gone through an NDE, but if you have not it may be a good idea to share your experience with them. Meetup.com is a good place to search for local people who want to share similar things.
