Excitotoxins and Neurodegenerative Diseases

Have you ever wondered why neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s Chorea and Parkinson’s are becoming more common? There are many causes of neurodegenerative diseases but one of the most destructive ones is excitotoxin. Independent researchers concluded that excitotoxins stimulate nerve cells to death because they cause them to fire very rapidly. The overstimulation of nerve cells is caused by an increase of glutamate and aspartate.

The Ego: How It Relates to Your Happiness

Sigmund Freud did a great job explaining what the ego is but he also failed to mention many important details about the ego. The ego is a function in the mind that gives us awareness of what we are experiencing in a linear fashion. It acts like a tape recorder and is the observer of our thoughts and emotions. People who have an imbalanced ego will have a hard time finding happiness because they do not really know what they want. An imbalanced ego can become overstimulated which allows it to dominant over our thoughts and emotions.

The Four Basic Laws of the Universe – Part Three

The Universe is very intelligent and has created many systems that are so precised that it takes advanced mathematics, and advanced technologies to measure them. All of these systems contain universal laws but the laws may vary depending on the type of system. In part two, I mentioned about the Law of Attraction (first law) and the Law of Allowance (second law). These two laws are very important for our survival and happiness, but are incomplete without the third law. The third law is the hardest law of the three. When they are combined together, there is balance and harmony which is the fourth law.

The Four Basic Laws of the Universe – Part Two

The four basic laws of the Universe are important for our survival and happiness because they govern everything that we do. If you have seen the movie The Secret, you may already be aware of the first law which is the Law of Attraction. The Secret did a good job explaining about the Law of Attraction but failed to mention some important things. It also failed to properly mention the other 3 laws which is the Law of Intention, Law of Allowance, and Law of Balance.
