Green Pasture’s Blue Ice Royal Butter and Cod Liver Oil – Review
Green Pasture’s Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil/Fermented Cod Liver Oil is a supplement made of X-Factor Gold high-vitamin butter oil and fermented cod liver oil. X-Factor Gold high-vitamin butter oil was discovered by Dr. Weston A Price. He found out that high-vitamin butter oil helped the body absorbed and utilized minerals. His studies also found out that high-vitamin butter oil was important for bone and tissue health, brain development and sex hormone production. One of Dr. Price greatest discoveries was made when he combined high-vitamin butter oil with cod liver oil. Combining these two ingredients resulted in a product with magical healing capabilities. Below is a quote from Live Superfoods about the health benefits of high-vitamin butter oil (aff. link).
High-vitamin butter oil also contains the “Wulzen Factor,” or “anti-stiffness factor,” discovered by researcher Rosalind Wulzen. Present in raw animal fat, this compound protects against degenerative arthritis, hardening of the arteries, cataracts, and calcification of the pineal gland. The Wulzen Factor is not present in the dairy products available in supermarkets, as it is destroyed by pasteurization.
As of this writing there are 3 kinds of Green Pasture’s Blue Ice Royal: Cinnamon Tingle (gel), Flavor/Antioxidant Free (gel) and Non-Gelatin Capsules (capsules). The one that I’m reviewing today is the cinnamon tingle flavor. I bought the cinnamon flavor at the Green Pasture website for the price of $49.00 (shipping not included). At first, I thought it was somewhat expensive, but after doing my research about how it was made, I realized that it was worth the money. The cinnamon flavor comes in a 8.1 fl. oz. (240 ml) opaque glass container which holds about 96 servings. Two things that may bother people about this supplement is its smell and flavor. It smells similar to cod liver oil mixed with butter. There is also a faint smell of cinnamon. The flavor is what I don’t like about this supplement. Even with the added cinnamon, it is still overwhelmed by an oily-fishy flavor. If you don’t like to eat fish, you may have a hard time consuming it. In this case, I suggest buying the capsule version instead of gel.
According to researchers, high-vitamin butter oil and cod liver oil are very beneficial for arthritis, arteriosclerosis, and decalcification of the pineal gland, because it helps decalcify calcium deposits in certain areas of the body. If you are a person who has joint pain or sleep problems, you may want to give this product a try. The pineal gland is a very powerful gland located in the middle of your brain. It is the gland that produces melatonin. Melatonin is a natural chemical that regulates sleep patterns. It is also an antioxidant that helps keep free-radicals in check. If you want to learn more about the pineal gland please visit this page.
Green Pasture’s Blue Ice Royal Butter Oil/Fermented Cod Liver Oil is a supplement that I would recommend for people who have sleep problems because it did help me sleep better. As for arthritis and arteriosclerosis, I’m not sure how well it works because I don’t have these health problems. The chance of me buying this product again is high because of its health benefits toward the pineal gland. Next time I will buy the capsule version instead of the gel.

I’ve taken GP’s Fermented CLO in liquid form, but how do you take the gel?
I usually scoop the gel with a small spoon and then consume the gel. The gel looks similar to pudding. Suggested serving size is 1/2 tsp or as directed. I usually take about 1 tsp every other day.
A warning to anyone ordering Green Pasture products:
I waited for mine for weeks and then one Oil arrived broken- I did not get a refund
and the company was very rude to me when I called them about it.
They do not have any kind of guarantees for their products, which means they should not be trusted. Most other companies that sell Cod Liver Oil do, so I would recommend getting it from one of those.
Where did you order from, whats the name of the company?
I am also having a terrible time with this green pastures company,
http://www.greenpasture.org/public/Products/ButterCodLiverBlend/index.cfm
they don’t answer their phone, and they put you on hold and never pick up again. This looks like a fly by night deal. Beware……
I suggest ordering it from Live Superfoods. I have ordered many products from Live Superfoods and always got my products on time and in great shape.
im getting dubious about green pastures fermented cod liver oil, it seems to be a real fad- but there is no research on it besides weston Price which is becoming very cultlike-and the fermented cod liver oil is making me feel quite sick, actually very sick
