The benefits of mineral water is also misleading. Mineral water usually contains synthetic vitamins. One of the reasons is because natural vitamins extracted from natural food sources are less stable.

Natural B-vitamins and natural vitamin C are water soluble; therefore, when they are added to liquid, they dissolve quickly and become almost useless. For this reason, mineral water are usually added with synthetic B-vitamins and synthetic vitamin C.

Some vitamin experts believe that natural vitamins and synthetic vitamins are the same but they are not.

Below is a short excerpt from drheise.com that does a great job explaining what synthetic vitamin is.

Vitamin B1, Thiamin The free vitamin B1 (called thiamin) is a base. When it is synthesized it becomes a solid salt such as thiamin hydrochloride or thiamin mononitrate. Synthetically thiamin is usually marketed as thiamin hydrochloride or thiamin mononitrate and is a made from Grewe diamine (a coal tar derivative) processed with ammonia and other chemicals. No thiamin hydrochloride (often listed as thiamin HCL) or thiamin mononitrate is naturally found in food or the body (thiamin pyrophosphate is the predominant form in the body. Yeast and legumes are excellent food sources of natural thiamin.

Drinking mineral water is not that much better than tap water. It all depends on the quality of the water and the methods its manufacturer used for filtering the water. For information about natural and synthetic vitamins and why natural vitamins are more superior, please read my early article below.

Hello Kelvin,

Alkaline water do work to a certain point and may work better at neutralizing acidic blood than tap water, but it usually does not work as good as claimed by sellers of alkaline water.

Alkaline water is achieved through a process called electrolysis. This process separates water into alkaline and acidic water. The problem with electrolysis is that if the water is distilled water or has been filtered using reverse osmosis, electrolysis cannot occur. If it does occur, it is usually minimal. In order for electrolysis to work, the water must have mineral ions.

Your body does a great job keeping your blood pH level balance. As long as you do not consume fast food, junk food, processed food and drink soda all the time, you should not have major problems with acidic blood.

If you find out that your blood is acidic, I suggest drinking 8-10 glass of filtered water or more on a daily basis. Make sure the water is filtered by a water filter system that uses activated alumina filters or reverse osmosis. These two filtration methods will dramatically reduce toxins in tap water, such as fluoride and heavy metals. Also, eat more alkaline food. Taking these actions should help bring your blood pH level back into balance.

Simple and true. Consuming toxic junk but also having a clogged liver that can't even detoxify adds more to the problem....great post!
