Image provided by Richard Smith
Organic VegetablesOne of the biggest problem people have when switching from a junk food diet to a whole food diet is how different they taste. This is because they have been conditioned at an early age to think that normal food should taste like junk food. This type of conditioning makes it hard for them to switch to a whole food diet, because to them healthy food taste unnatural and plain.

When I first started to eat more healthy food it was a challenge, not because the food tasted different, but because I had to eat more meals per day. The foods that I ate were mostly raw organic fruit and vegetable. Eating fruit and vegetable have great benefits but I was constantly hungry throughout the day. The solution that I found to solve this problem was to eat nuts and other plant-based food that contain a lot of protein and essential fatty acids. Food that contain high levels of protein and essential fatty acids are great for prolonging hunger because they take longer to digest.

The purpose of my story above is to show you that switching to a healthy food diet may be hard, but can be done as long as you don’t give up. Whenever you face a problem related to food there is always a solution as long as you search for it.
