The mainstream media has done such an amazing job of brainwashing us to believe fluoride (sodium fluoride) is good for our teeth that most of us actually believe that fluoride is good for our health. The fluoride used for treating drinking water is not the natural calcium fluoride found in nature; rather, it is the synthetic industrial version, which is known as sodium fluoride.
Is fluoride toxic and bad for you?
The natural version of fluoride (calcium fluoride) is not that harmful to us. It is usually found in the soil and spring water in very small quantities. The synthetic version of fluoride (sodium fluoride) is a hazardous waste containing very toxic chemicals. This version of fluoride is bad for you.
Certain companies who are involved in the fluoride industry manipulated their data to create the illusion that sodium fluoride is safe by using studies done on calcium fluoride instead of the hazardous waste sodium fluoride. They deliberately did this to deceive the public into accepting sodium fluoride as a water disinfection agent, which is why most of us do not know that fluoride is toxic.
Fluoride dangers: What is fluoride?
The term “fluoride” is a cover-up name for many of the dangerous chemicals that make up fluoride, including arsenic, lead, aluminum, cadmium, fluorosilicic acid and even radioactive materials. The pure form of sodium fluoride is so toxic that by just drinking a small droplet of it could kill you. This is why fluoridated toothpastes have warning labels and non-fluoridated toothpastes do not. Are you starting to see the big picture? These are just a few examples of the dangers of fluoride. As more people become aware of the side effects of fluoride, fluoride toxicity should start to decline.
As described at FluorideDebate.com.
Fluoride, as such, is never added to the water. Only silicofluorides (a hazardous waste containing many toxic pollutants) are used to artificially fluoridate water, and studies have proven that they do not effectively prevent tooth decay, they only delay it. (See opposition’s response to Question 4). Silicofluorides never occur naturally in nature, and they are 85 times more toxic than natural occurring calcium fluoride. Therefore, the effect on the entire body will be different.
“The claim that fluoridation is one of ‘nature’s experiments’ is not valid because the salts put into the water supply, sodium fluoride or silicofluorides, are industrial products never found in natural water or in organisms. They are, furthermore, notoriously toxic, sufficiently so to be used as rat poison or insecticide. Calcium fluoride, on the other hand, which is the form commonly found in natural waters, is not toxic enough for such uses.” — Dr. C. G. Dobbs, (Ph.D., A.R.C.S.) Bangor, Wales, England.
Why are they adding fluoride in water?
Why are they adding the toxic version of fluoride in drinking water, you may ask? It is all about greed and control. To dump sodium fluoride into the environment in a safe manner costs a lot of money. Instead of paying our government to safely store and breakup fluoride into a non-hazardous chemical, they decided to manipulate our government into allowing fluoride to be added into our drinking water, so that they can make even more profits. Another reason is to use fluoride to dumb down the public and make them sick, which is great for making money for the pharmaceutical industry. A sick and dumbed down public is easier to control.

How to protect your family from the effects of fluoride in water
The most convenient way to protect yourself and your family from the effects of fluoride in drinking water is to use a water purification system that can remove most contaminants and sodium fluoride. Reverse osmosis and activated alumina water purification systems are usually recommended for removing these toxins. If you are interested in portable water purification systems that can remove sodium fluoride, I recommend the Royal Berkey with PF-2 fluoride filters. For more information about this water filter system, read my informative review of the Berkey water filter system.
I do not recommend buying cheap water filters from your local retail stores. These filters do a poor job removing water contaminants, especially sodium fluoride. Bottled water and filtered water from your local stores are also not as purify as they should be, unless they are purified with activated alumina filters or reverse osmosis technology. By using a water filter system that can filter out sodium fluoride, you are taking a big step in protecting your health from the dangers of fluoride; therefore, reducing your risk of fluoride toxicity.
