I feel that while it’s important to enjoy a diet that’s high in alkaline foods, it’s also important to know that this anti-cancer diet can also cause your body to be deficient in other ways. A diet that is rich in alkaline foods could mean your body is lacking in other essential minerals which include:

  • Potassium
  • Calcium
  • Sodium
  • Magnesium

You will need to add foods containing high levels of these essential minerals to your alkaline rich diet. These four nutrients are important for boosting your energy and fighting cancer, especially magnesium.
