Negative Effects of Over Exercising

Image provided by Ed Yourdon
Outdoor ExerciseExercise is one of the best physical activities that you can do to increase your health but too much exercise can cause negative effects on your body. According to a research done in Toronto, people who did aerobic exercise five days per week for more than 40 minutes, had lowered antibody production than those who did aerobic exercise three days per week. The human body, like many system of the Universe, is all about balance. By exercising too much, you can disrupt the chemical balance in your body. This can cause certain health problems and stress on your immune system.

Have you ever wondered why bodybuilders and marathon runners look older than their real age? People who dedicated their whole lives to these kind of sports exercise more than is needed. Too much exercise can increase production of cortisol and pro-inflammatory chemicals. These chemicals can cause tissue damage and promote premature aging. Over exercising also suppresses the immune system which can make people susceptible to disease causing microorganisms.

If you do exercise more than what is needed, you should pay close attention to your diet. Organic plant-based food is one of the best diets to reduce the negative effects of over exercising. Organic plant-based food is full of nutrients and antioxidants to help heal your body and reduce free-radical damage. Free-radical damages your body by disrupting the atomic structure of your cells and DNA. It has been linked to most, if not all, disease in the body. If you are worried about the negative effects of over exercising, do light exercises such as walking, jogging, yoga, tai chi and aerobic exercise.

If you are planning a last summer camp trip, you may want to think twice about bring something to repel mosquito. The most common product for repelling mosquito is insect repellent spray. Most insect repellent sprays are harmful to your health because they contain N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide (DEET). DEET is a registered pesticide and is a member of the toluene chemical family. DEET can easily be absorbed by the skin; therefore, contaminating the blood within minutes of use. Studies have shown that DEET can disrupt the central nervous system and is harmful to the brain. Luckily, there are safer alternatives that can work just as well or even better than insect repellent spray.

Natural mosquito repellents:

  • Rosemary Oil: Dab a cotton ball in rosemary oil and apply to certain areas of the body. Repeat after an hour or two. Some herbalists believed that by mixing rosemary oil and catnip oil, it can be more effective than DEET. Rosemary oil may cause skin irritation in some people. To reduce the irritation, dilute the oil in water or apply less. Grow rosemary in your yard where you like to hang out. This can help drive mosquito away.

Lavender oil may cause skin irritation in some people. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to dilute the oil in water before applying it. Grow lavender in the areas where you like to hang out, such as the deck or grill area. This can help drive mosquito away.

You can also dab a cotton ball in pure peppermint oil and apply it on certain areas on your body. You may want to test it on your skin first because peppermint oil may cause skin irritation. Warts are usually painless but there are some that may cause cancer. According to researchers, over 90 percent of cervical cancers are related to HPV, especially HPV type 16 and 18. Warts can vary in shapes and sizes. Body warts can be pointy or flat. Their colors are usually dark, white, grey or skin-tone in color. Genital warts are usually red or pink and pointy or tall. Women who have genital warts should have regular PAP smear to check for cervical cancer.

Warts causes:

  • Warts is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). Warts can be transmitted from an infected person to another person by physical contact or sexual activities. Warts that appear on the body are not as contagious as genital warts. People who have a healthy immune system usually do not have problems with warts. Therefore, a suppressed immune system is common in people with wart problems.

Wart remedies:

  • Wild Lettuce (also known as lactuca canadensis): This herb is well known in the herbal community for removing warts. To use the herb, squeeze its juice from the stalk and apply to the infected area.

  • Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS): The secret ingredient in MMS is chlorine dioxide. Note: Chlorine dioxide is not the same as chlorine. When chlorine dioxide comes in contact with certain microorganisms in the body, it destroys them by exploding the walls of microorganisms. This makes it really effective at destroying them because microorganisms can’t become resistant to it. According to Jim Humble, the founder of MMS, the chlorine dioxide in MMS can kill pathogen, bacteria, virus, fungus and parasites. Visit this page for more information on MMS.

Your immune system is one of your best tools for fighting warts. To increase the function of your immune system, avoid using fluoridated products, such as fluoridated toothpaste. This also include fluoridated drinking water. Most drinking water in the United States is treated with fluoride. If you live in the United States, you need to install a special water filter system called activated alumina. For more information about activated alumina water filter system, please visit this page. Heavy metal toxicity is also great at reducing the function of your immune system. To remove heavy metal, you will need to take oral chelation supplement or visit your doctor for chelation therapy and go on a detox diet. Avoid eating refined sugar and artificial sweeteners because they are great at lowering your immune system.
