The heart chakra is the doorway to spiritual knowledge; therefore, people who have a balanced heart chakra will have greater universal love and understanding. It is located a few inches in front and in back of the heart. Its color is green and represent universal love. People who have a blocked heart chakra will lack compassion and love. This blockage can cause them to become abusive or afraid of being loved.

The crown chakra is the gateway between the physical self and universal self.

The sacral plexus chakra is orange in color. It is located near the abdomen, just beneath the navel. Like the root chakra, the sacral plexus chakra deals with sexual activities, but also reproductive activities, emotions and creativity. Its energy governs the reproductive organs and is responsible for nourishing the fetus.

The root chakra is an energy vortex located at the base of the spine that usually spins clockwise. Its energy nourishes the pelvis, sexual organs and everything below them. People who have a weak or closed root chakra will usually feel fatigue, lack physical power and sexual desire, and may lack the will to move on in life. Others may become violent or seclude themselves from society because they lack a sense of identity.
