Pregnant in America is an educational and inspirational documentary that exposes how U.S. hospitals are heavily influenced by insurance companies. Nowadays, U.S. hospitals are encourage to use synthetic drugs, such as Cytotec (misoprostol) and Pitocin to induce labor. The real purpose of these drugs are not for safety but for profit. If these drugs are really as effective as they claim, then why does the U.S. has one of the highest infant mortality rates among developed countries?
